Steven King based movies?

I think Hollywood made King so famous. I have read many of his books, and there really isn't anything special about him, or his books.
But I think he is just one writer that Hollywood looked too when it came to horror.

I don't know, I think his books are actually pretty good, I mean how much other horror have you read to compare them to?

I really liked THE STAND. I know that it wasn't the best movie, but I have read the book about 10+ times over the years, so I liked it.

I thought is was one of his most religous books ever.

Also, I think hollywood may have made King richer, but his ability to spin a tale has made him famous.
