I attended Brownsville twice and while I can't say I share his theology, he had a deep deep love for God and people.

at first my thoughts were sad knowing there is only one Steve Hill that I knew for two weeks at Brownsville back in November/December 1997, but then I remember his sermon (how can I ever forget it) "It's just stuff"

He went on and on about everything we own is just stuff ...

then I got happy remembering the rumor that when you get to heaven you get to meet all of the people that helped you get there and all of the people that you helped get there.

Steve Hill is going to be there ahead of me with his raspy voice still preaching that sermon, "It's just stuff"

Fitting that EVANGELIST Steve Hill should give the Altar call to his own funeral. Only heaven knows how many people prayed with Steve for Salvation and Forgiveness as this aired to millions on GodTV and Daystar

I don't know what Steve is going to do in heaven, there is no one to save there. Great man of God, Brownsville repeats were shown on God TV around 2001ish and helped me come to Jesus as an adult.

Rest in peace and intercede for all those he left behind.

Did you know that one great man of prayer George Muller died and the people that he had been praying for to come to the Lord for over twenty years started coming to the Lord.

Something powerful was going on in Steve's life before he died and I bet something powerful is still going on.

Absolutely. Although I wonder how heavenly intercession works. Does it mean some saints can still see us. Do they intercede alongside Jesus to God or against the Devil and principalities. Just a thought. Anyway Steve deserves a rest, a great life sold out to the gospel.
