“A local judge in Boston ordered the flight grounded and has now trapped ICE officers in Djibouti with these savage monsters! Having to guard and protect them 24-7 in a location with no appropriate facilities! No detention space! No detention beds! Nothing! Putting their lives on the line! They have to watch them 24-7. There aren’t enough resources to ensure the safety of these ICE officers! Is this judge mad? Is this judge a lunatic? What kind of country are we living in where we are even having this kind of conversation!?” Stephen Miller said during an appearance on Newsmax this weekend.

I absolutely concur with Mr. Miller.

Oh no!

A judge ordered Americans to follow basic American law.

How dare he!

Why didn't he think of the poor, poor ICE agents who now have to suffer the consequences of their actions following illegal orders?
Little things like the rule of law, habeas corpus and due process mean nothing when compared to some moderate inconvenience for LEOs.

Next, the local dog show judge is going to start ordering the president.

It seems as if the top people in the current Administration are the ones who are behaving like savage monsters. Since they are just throwing people into planes without due process, technically those people are innocent until proven guilty. On the other hand the crimes of the current administration are visible front and center.

“A local judge in Boston ordered the flight grounded..."
They were meant to be going to South Sudan. The place is exceptionally dangerous at the moment. Which is why the flight taking these guys flew over South Sudan en route to Djibouti, which is a lot safer. The ICE guys thought twice about spending a few days in Juba and flew the extra couple of hours to somewhere where they could get a decent bed and a cold beer.

From what I have read, these immigrants are some really bad dudes. But the government still needs to go through due process. When is Trump and his minions going to finally grasp this very basic fact?

Now I know why President Biden was so frustrated. Every Dog show judge left and right was blocking his student debt relief!

As far as I know none of the illegals convicted of these crimes protested that they did not receive a fair trial or a jury of their peers or were gagged during their trials. Now I believe Garcia has seen 14 judges, and we still hear Democrats cry he has not received due process. There is no number that is going to satisfy the Democrats, the idea is to ideally keep them in the country forever. These illegals are future votes and have already given states like California extra representatives in Congress. Let me also point out again that the Supreme Court decisions over the years, while being all over the place, have recognized that someone entering the country illegally does NOT have the same due process as a citizen.

If these deported individuals had complained that they did not receive a fair trial, how would we have heard that? Who hears the desperate cries of the wrongfully imprisoned?

Congressional seats are based on the census--not based on voters, or even on citizens. So logically Texas and Florida, both of whom have very large numbers of immigrants, have seen their Congressional seats grow based on those numbers. California lost a seat or two in Congress, but Texas and Florida have had big gains.

That's a lie.

...and Florida and Texas. If you want to give up the boosts that FL and TX get, I'd happily give up the boost that CA gets in return.

A lot of citizens have exited California. Tragically many are bringing their politics with them. Deport the illegals and they really would take a hit in electoral seats.

AI synopsis:
California is thriving, having recently overtaken Japan to become the fourth-largest economy in the world. The state has a robust economy with a nominal GDP of approximately $4.1 trillion, growing at a rate of 6%, which is faster than the U.S. and China1. California's economy is driven by sectors such as technology, entertainment, tourism, and agriculture, making it a significant contributor to the national economy5. Additionally, the state has seen record-high tourism spending and job creation, particularly in fast food and the tech industry4. However, challenges such as income inequality and high costs remain, which affect the overall economic landscape.

Imagine if California seceded! All those subsidized states in the deep South would be calling "no fair!"

The anti-California propaganda is a real case of "Biting the hand that feeds us."

I say that as someone who has visited four continents but only visited California once, on a business trip in 2014. Having come from NY if I wanted to visit a mecca of arts, culture, finance, etc. I'd go back to visit family from NY.

But I'm so tired of California being the whipping boy for everything that is wrong with this country. Everything that's wrong with this country comes from an estate in West Palm Beach, Florida and radiates outward.

Valletta's working that "tell a lie often enough" thing.

As I've explained, Supreme Court rulings of the past have made it clear illegals to not get the same "due process" as American citizens.

"of the past"? What about last week?
(Not to mention the references to its own rulings of the past that it has "long held".)

Trump administration violated order by sending immigrants on flight to Africa, U.S. judge says

The Trump administration violated a federal court order against deporting immigrants to countries where they have no ties without giving them a chance to contest their removal, a federal judge in Boston said Wednesday.
The Trump Administration not only did something illegal; they did it after being specifically told (by the judge) to not do the illegal thing (again).

Bite the hand that feeds? They make a bunch of money, but their books are still in the red ($12 Bn in May 2025 although less than estimated). That is the problem. They cannot afford their spending and keep going to uncle Sam expecting other states to bail them out.

That isn't correct. As with most states, California is required to have a balanced budget. They're currently in the process of negotiating a budget bill that cuts that spending.

It is correct. But it is always Trump's fault. It was probably Trump's fault that California had an estimated $68 Bn deficit in 2023.

They don't. Californians pay more in federal taxes than they receive in federal aid.
