Well, I find out this weekend that I will not be out attending Easter service.
Here is why:
My wife wants to attend the special Latin Mass/Easter service. Nothing wrong with that, except that we cannot take the wildchild as there is no place for him and he would be too disruptive to be in the service. That leaves me to stay home with him while she goes.
Since I went at Christmas (I am more into the Christmas service anyway), It is only fair that she have her turn to go at Easter.
Some would say "Too bad you can't go as a family" YES TOO BAD!!!!! tell that to the mental health profession. grrrrr
You see why this is so difficult. It is hard enough finding a church as it is, finding one that has a place for all members of our family has proved impossible so far. When we go, we go not as a family but by ourselves. We rarely go as a family; if we could we would, but last time we tried we left about 5 minutes into it when a certain kid decided he did not want to be quiet and not disrupt everyone elses right to worship in peace and quiet. not a great situation, I know that, but that is all we can do.
