Status Quo anyone?

Does anyone like the British band Status Quo? They have to go down in history as to being the band who have had the most Top 40 hits in the UK, ever although they never really made it in America and were popular in Australia until 1980 when drummer Alan Lancaster left the band.

I like having a bit of a head-tossing session to 'Whatever You Want', 'Caroline', 'The Wanderer', and 'Rocking All Over The World' although most Americans remember them for the psychedelic classic 'Pictures Of Matchstick Men' which I think the band is quite embarrassed by today.

love status quo although most of their songs were a little bit before my time i think theyre timeless, id love to see them play live

They've just released a new single called 'You'll Come Round' which is an excellent song, focusing on a more universal message and diverting from their power-punk and 4-bar-boogie to an anthemic stomp a bit like John Lennon's "Give Peace A Chance" and Queen's "Fat Bottomed Girls".

Definitely not one you can afford to miss.

OOOOH! they were the days. I have piledriver and dog of two heads on vinyl.I must update to cd sometime. Saw status Quo live back in, er yes well along time ago now.
