CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was 14 also, and I was way too young to date.. 
I just think back now and laugh.. But seriously it was way too young lol

16 here. I set up certain boundaries for myself and stuck to them, so I don't think I was too young.

I was 14 also, and I was way too young to date..
Isn't it funny how hindsight is 20/20 perfect clarity looking back? But when we were 14 we were like "Of course I'm old enough to date.. I'm practically an adult."

Oh I know... hahaha I always said "But mom/dad [so and so] is allowed to date!!"
The first date I actually got away with was just terrible.. we played a trick on my dad. We were getting credit for going and seeing the new LOTR movie because we were studying it in english because it related to the Oddessy. But my "friend" Cody needed a ride haha
so I convinced my dad to let us give him a ride to the movie and he did... we both sat in the back seat and held hands and then we got to the movie and my dad left to go shopping for my mom and picked us up later but it was so funny!! hahaha My dad went to work the next night and told his buddies and they laughed at him and told him that we set him up bad... hahaha They knew because their daughters were older like around 17 and 18 lol That was so great though!!

haha I was one of those people who was "engaged" at 15, you know? Not a real engagement, but you've got the whole "we're going to be together forever, I just know it, we'll never need anyone else" thing going on, and you get a promise ring and you think you know EVERYTHING about life, and everyone tells you "It's just puppy love" and you stamp your foot and say "You don't know me at all!! I am in love!"

eh, I'm happy now sure but, I've been through one divorce, one failed engagement (a real one, when I was 19), and many a heart break to get here.

Started dating at 16. Too young? Nah not really. I just started dating when I felt like it.
But then again, I've got a pretty cool head on my shoulders. I've got commitment issues sort of, so I keep things not too seriously (serious enough, but no "engagement" here thanks!) and have little to-no sex drive, so its not like I'm going to do anything stupid.

I didn't start until I was 19. I'm just not the type. I've never liked the dating scene. I've just been waiting for God to bring someone along when He knew I would be ready for them... and He's so full of surprises

but i was a weird kid i think lol i had 0 interest in dating for a long time when i was a teenager. i remember actually thinking about that one time when i was about 15 about how strange that was because all the girls my age i knew either already started dating already or wanted to. it wasn't until i was about 17 and developed a crush on one guy at church that i thought, 'okay maybe there's something to this dating thing after all'

Just kidding. I've only had two relationships in my life. One of which was in my 20's. So I didn't start dating till I was in my 20's.
