Starting from scratch

Have you ever been in a situation where you could have / had to start from scratch? How did you decide what to do, where to go? What would you do different in retrospect?

I am going to have to start from scratch, once again... I am only 22 so everybody keeps telling me that I have all the time in the world left. But I don't just want to go do something, I wanna do something right. I am trying to just figure out the way, would be happy for any advice, insights or testimonies.

I started all over at age 28, then got laid-off at 33, only to only start all over again at 35. I then got laid-off and lost everything at age 53, only to only start all over again at age 55. I have a large family to support, I have no savings and no retirement, and have been diagnosed with an incurable cancer, and could loose my current job at most any time. My family really has nothing to fall back on. If things go bad, which could happen quickly, they are on the street with nothing. So do you really want to talk about starting over?

From what I've observed about life in general, it seems that everything in life happens for a reason, and this is where God comes into our lives. There are times when our lives will fall apart, and this is during the time when we will need to pray to God and continue to have faith in God, because God has his own way and own timing in doing things and He will always work things out in his own perfect timing. So we just have to trust Him, and have faith in Him.
