  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Mine, ironically, was against the computer. I consider it my biggest, baddest win because it changed the way I looked at strategy, from a defensive tactic to an offensive one.

It was a ladder game; more specifically a melee. It was on one of those space platforms where other platforms had minerals but no gas. I was against four zerg opponents, and I could never get strong enough to defend the base and then proceed to take out the zergy bases. All the tactics I previously used failed. A friend of mine declared the screen unbeatable.

So I simply set up a barracks and trained four marines-one for each zerg base. They didn't have anything up other than their "zergy command outlets," and I was able to take them out with one marine each. They never had time to do anything about it. That's when my thinking changed about strategy.
