  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I saw the new Star Wars movie at the midnight showing before it opened. It was awesome. I wont give anything away, because that will take the fun away, but I will say this, in my opinin it's the best Star Wars movie in the saga.

If you've seen it, and want to talk about it, or any of the other Star Wars movies, then post here!

http://www.christianforums.com/t1637661-review-of-star-wars-episode-iii.html - Here is discussion about it.

I would place it 4th in ranking of the saga. The new movies are slick, in terms of stunts and special effects, but I recently watched the originals again, and they just can't be beat. The new episodes George Lucas has relied on the glitz and action too much, and left second and third rate characterisation, scripting, development and filler villains that have all the depth of a cardboard figure. I thought the same thing coming out of Star Wars EpI-III as I did coming out of the Matrix sequels - they should have left the originals well enough alone. If there wasn't the development I knew from the originals, I'd rate it alongside the average Van Damme movie.
