Dear Daily Message Readers,
READ: Psalm 119:137-144
Psalm 119:60 (NIV) "All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal."
Finding the truth is always important. Yet in today's world, the search for truth can take you to many different places. That's why the slogan of today's world often sounds something like this: Truth is what you make it to be. In other words, my beliefs and your beliefs can be direct opposites and even contradict one another completely but still both must be true. Not only is this a dangerous mind set for any Christian to accept, but it is directly opposed to the Word of God.
There is one central truth that prevails, and that is this: Almighty God is our source of all Truth. What He says in His Word usurps all other claims, and only through trusting in the Way, the Truth, and the LifeJesus Christ, His Soncan we live in His truth.
Consider these other biblical truths: God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1). God is love (John 3:16). All have sinned (Romans 3:23). Jesus rose from the grave and is alive today (1 Corinthians 15). Salvation is found in Christ alone (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8-9). The Holy Spirit indwells believers (John 16:5-16). God inspired the writing of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16). The Bible provides truth for living (Psalm 119:60).
These are eternal truths you can always count on as a Christiantruths that are rock-solid, trustworthy, and uncontestable. Base your life on the truth God has provided in the Bible. Faith Lesson: No matter what the intellectuals or leaders of this world may teach, all truth begins and ends with the everlasting God.
In Christ,
Darin Smith
