Standards For Dating Too High?

If the forum was Christian-only, that'd be a concern, but it's not. I know the profile is to the left, but I wouldn't insinuate my standards onto you, common courtesy to do the same. If my brother wants to find a Christian, assuming he's still relatively devout (he goes to church every Sunday, I believe, work schedule permitting), that's his choice, not mine

Right, that said, would a question like this be best for a Buddhist message board? Just kind of makes sense.

You'll forgive me if I don't want to be in an echo chamber of agreements on a particular thing (not that I'm much of a traditional Buddhist as people probably understand). And yeah, it's me, I don't concern myself much, if at all, with my brother's dating life (if he's dating now anyway)

Recent threads have driven home the necessity of considering the ramifications of religion and the worldview it espouses.

It has been used to justify derogatory perspectives on women, politics, moral decisions, and different lifestyles. I don’t serve a God who bullies or brandishes a 2x4.

I realize the importance of challenging and controversial topics. I need to gauge their tolerance and personal boundaries.
