While I agree that the belief that human rights put on a pedestal is what the age of Laodocia is comprised of (the age that we're now living in) yet the times of intolerance were also the times of the blood of His saints. It's a very fine line to draw and one best left to the Lord. It's better to have Him remove the log from our own eyes and to have that salve that enables us to see and be refined :)
To the Church in Laodicea

14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:

These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. 15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. 21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

ok, I am trying to grasp all this,...can someone tell me is Paul speaking of a literally temple, and if this already happened where is Jesus? thanks

2 Thess. 2

1Now, dear brothers and sisters,a let us clarify some things about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and how we will be gathered to meet him. 2Don’t be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly from us. 3Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessnessb is revealed—the one who brings destruction.c 4He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.

The bible clearly tells us that God is not finished dealing with the Jews. Jabob was told to abide (dwell) in Bethel and he left that place, David was told to abide (dwell) in Hebron and he left that place. Christians are told to abide (dwell) in Christ and by this we should be at the throne of grace to recieve mercy of a clear conscience at all times, that's where Jesus is.
