Have you read in the article about what that "alternative remediation" is? It's a group that was actually involved in the criminal behavior in the first place. No different than terrorists being handed back to their own trainers to get more training.

What they did (take over a section of the city and prevent police and medical personel from doing their work, resulting in deaths) certainly was. If you don't think so, then perhaps you wouldn't mind if they took over part of where you live, including your home.

It depends upon how technical about it you want to get. Taking over a section of the city and preventing police and medical from enforcing laws and rendering aid to those who had been shot by CHOP "protesters" is hardly allowed under law. If those responsible for the killings, destruction of property, harassment of business owners, etc. were never brought to justice, then I suppose you could reason that none of them became convicted criminals for what they did. But that certainly doesn't excuse their criminal behavior, try as you might.
You have yet to point out any criminal behavior. You just note that they were in the CHOP and then claim because of that they are criminals. Simply being in the CHOP is not criminal and they have not charged anyone for being there. If you have specific crimes you feel they have committed by all means bring therm forward. Show us whom from this group prevented police or medical personnel from doing their job.

The article I posted was of a particular protest; it was not refering to all of the protests that has been taking place over the past 8 or so months. So yes; for that particular protest, 37 misdemeaners, and about a half dozen violent acts for that particular protest.Not according to the article you posted.
