Stained Prayer
From the heart and mouth of a sinner,
I ask You to help me see,
God, please show me through my ignorance
What I was made to be.
I know I've heard the saying
"Better to have loved than not at all",
But after my experience, I still ask
Why did I have to fall?
Hear my Stained Prayer.
Sometimes I feel rejected
Not loud enough to hear.
I stand small, quiet and alone
As I am pushed to the rear.
I know You're there and hear me
This Presence surrounding me.
I know I can tell You everything
Good and bad, yet still love me...
Hear my Stained Prayer.
I've taken things in my hands
That I should give up to You
But sometimes I forget to trust
Although I know Your plan is true.
Please God, remember
That I am still young.
That I will do things wrong,
Than from those I'm among...
Hear my Stained Prayer.
I'm not whats considered
Perfect in this worlds eyes.
So God please help me to
See past all the lies.
I know there is Someone
Who loves me out there.
Thank you for taking time
