  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Actually, I love to sing and hope to get some lessons in the future. I've already performed many times and perhaps I'll do something nice with my talent in the future...That's why I have been thinking about the stage movements...Celine's are partly ok and partly perhaps too sexual and undecent...

I can't always tell if some movement is bad or not. I would like to get some advice on stage movements, which are ok and not ok, since I'm a christian and don't want to act silly. Still, I would like to my movements look good on the stage, when I'm performing (if and when I get to perform a lot in the future). If someone here has watched Celine perform, please tell me something about the movements, so I can decide are they bad or not!

You can watch Celine on YouTube of course!

An emotive response is almost always good. Do you dance? To a dancer, movement must be a reflection of how you feel about a certain peice - what it brings out in you. You feel it and go with it, even if you think it looks a bit ridiculous. Eyo! :p

If you're worried about sexuality, there are some overtly-sexual ways to move your body: grinding, hip rolling, "making love" to the mic, running your hand down the sides of your body, any breast touching... wow, I feel like I'm writing about a strip club performance.

Basically, if you don't feel comfortable with it, don't do it.
