Oh I understand what you mean. But from my point of view, since he's now a Saint, his human imperfections are gone. However, I understand why you wouldn't want to venerate him. I mean I used to have a little resentment for him creating a Communist sentiment among some of the Russians.

It isn't, but it can be part of... Greek Orthodoxy is not Russian Orthodoxy.. they both have the cultures of their native lands intertwined in the faith.

Consider Nicholas II and russian culture/history. Consider Nicholas II and general Orthodoxy?

Which does it fit better with? Do the other Orthodox churches venerate Nicholas II as a saint?

I'm curious to know.
