John Calvin (July 10, 1509 – May 27, 1564) was a French Protestant theologian during the Protestant Reformation and was a central developer of the system of Christian theology called Calvinism or Reformed theology. In Geneva, he rejected Papal authority, established a new scheme of civic and ecclesiastical governance, and created a central hub from which Reformed theology was propagated.

In my opinion, prerequisites have been affixed to scripture's qualifications for that title.
And if I'm not mistaken, some of the "Official" saints have "rap sheets'.

Yes they are to be hounored in icons and the icons are to be kissed after doing the sign of the cross and bowing to them and. What's wrong with that? That's how real Christianity works.

Yes, that is real, pure Christianity. Orthodoxy is the same Christianity as the one founded in Nicea by Saint Emperor Constantine I and the holy Church Fathers. They did not have things like Church corporations or advertisement in their Churches, for “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24 NKJV)

Protestantism is a corrupted version of Christianity, the original faith is preserved in the orthodox Church. Your "saints" are false and evil men.

No, just ppl who achieved theosis, who became what Christ redeemed them to be.. holy and perfect as per Christ's words in the bible. "Be ye perfect as your heavely Father is perfect..." and "Be holy as God is holy..."

hence it is blasphemous to honor Calvin with that title just as it is blasphemous to imply JP2 is damned.

There is something radically wrong and I mean radically wrong to believe John Calvin is a Saint and JP2 damned.

What is this my guy is holier than your guy? If they are both born again Christians then what is the difference?
It is God who justifies and sanctifies...
You think our Lord would pick one over the other based on their earthly theology? or are you suggesting that jp2 lead a holier life than calvin? holier based on what? human interpretation... John Calvin MAY have along with Luther and others lead millions unto salvation by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, if one reads God's written word in its plain sense it certainly would appear this way.
