  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi all TAWer's. My shortest day of the year has started, and the longest day for Khaleas, John and Emmanuel.
It's Mid Summer / Winter!
Most of the rest of you will wake up to your longest day in about 5 hours.

today is the longest day here aka basically no night. I'll actually be on a train going north tonight (you put your car on the train and get a sleeper cabin and off you go - cheaper and easier than driving... with a bit of jetlag still). But tomorrow morning I'm up by the Arctic Circle and then we're off to Northern Norway. YAY! I'll be back here the 28th I'm guessing... cuz I have to leave the 1st to head back.

Michael!! YAYYYYYYYY!!!!!! Cool!

Ok, I'm off to pack... can you all please pray for my grandmother, Pia, she has gotten extremely forgetful in the last two months. It's really worrying to us all.
