Please say a prayer for me. The doctor's found a "mass" in my abdomen and I have no insurance. I am using a free medical clinic and they have found a way for me to have some tests and to consult with a urologist (as I have blood in my urine) for no cost. However, with my husband off in Europe and not in contact with me (and not supporting me financially), I am really worried. I am in my own business so I have no benefits. I don't fear the "mass" or what it is... I fear financial ruin.

Pray for me to trust God more! Lord have mercy!

I used to have a bunch of M.C. Escher prints and one of them was of that crazy stairway. I've lost them somewhere along the way over the years.

What's the Labyrinth? I've never heard of it. (I mean, I know about the legendary one at Knossos with the Minotaur and all of that, but I know nothing of the movie. )

Ok, I've finished my paper... now if I could figure out how to cram 160 pages of ultra boring text into my head in an hour... any suggestion except for mild violence ... but the stuff is pretty much current events so I should have a decent grip.

This is my last exam before graduating... WHOO HOOO!!! Now I just have to survive first... grr boo hiss...

Then I get to come home and clean, pick up the parents and my bro from the hotel (they got in last night) and get their rental car... fun.

I just found out this morning that my son is now too old to continue attending daycare. I have no idea what to do with him this summer while I'm working.

Is there a day camp? That's where my parents dumped me and my sister. They have them at schools around here and they keep kids busy all day with trips to the library or making arts and crafts.

Noah's about nine or ten, isn't he? Maybe you can get him work doing odd jobs, raking yards and stuff. He'll hate having to work his butt off, but he might make good money.

If he's old enough and relatively non-rambunctious, you could also have him do volunteer work at an old folk's home or a homeless shelter. If worse gets to worse, does your school district offer elective courses during summer school?
