Yeah I was at a dinner party that night and we were watching it on and off... in between listening to some Byzantine music concert that the family that invited us had recorded in Greece ;)... Also to some real great Greek music.... I do not think the Stealers were in our mind too much but still glad they won :)

Superbowl Sunday is comng up now ...I suppose.

Anhelyna !!!!!!!!!!! How are ya? is it cold up there???? We will go down to the teens this week...:( :( :(.....

Accidental misspelling or on purpose?

:( :( it was accidental mistake Iwill go and correct now *blushing*.....

(hope you edit your post too :(....and sorry I am careless when typing...)

I was actually joking with you. I didn't know if you were of the mindset that the Steelers stole their last game from the Ravens with the so-called "controversial" touchdown at the end of the game where the ball supposedly did not cross the goal line. That is what those in Baltimore and surrounding areas have been saying for the past month. Funny thing is there are photos from above on a number of websites that show the ball actually was in the end-zone. That is why I was wondering if you purposely called the Steelers the "Stealers"!

As for me, I am very sad at the fact there are only 3 games left to the football season. I guess it is time for a full scale changeover for me from football to hockey. I only wish the Penguins were doing a little better.

Pens are rather snooze inducing right now... Esp Fedotenko trying to beat someone up and just getting a broken hand out of it... DUH! I think that's what you get when you go more for players than chemistry. Baby Pens have been much more exciting...

We are thinking about getting 4 tickets to a Pens game when you and Kevin come to visit us in Feb, if you 2 are up to it.

And that, ladies and gents, is basically how my morning starts before getting to class. :)

Or how my afternoon starts after classes are done. ;)

A friend of mine is a good friend of Troys and this friend tells me Troy is a VERY devout Orthodox Christian. But then I think everyone already knows this.

found some people who play street fighter at the student union. It was good to meet some people to play with, make some new friend. I am an avid third strike player, and with street fighter 4 coming out soon, it's time to bust it out again.

what is "street fighter"? a video game? In my times we used to play RISK on the mac... hehehehe....back in my college years ...

yup, a fighting game. I like it in particular because you can pick it up and put it down without taking a huge chunk of your life with it. It is also very, very deep with its strategy, mind games, etc. Here's a clip from a match I was in:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNCUzwLw2-E

the matches are long, but you only need to see 30 seconds to get an idea

I am back from staying with my grandmother. And tired. And vowing never to drink a macchiato and a latter straight after each other and that AFTER a large glass of coke after a few weeks of little to no caffeine EVER AGAIN. Ugh.

Also, I has boyfriend. Well...I suppose that's as good a word as you're going to get. Beyond dating (the Greeks here are traditional, and don't - it's friends then dive in head first) but not engaged...yet... my priest is already making jokes about our children! Yikes. His name is Andrew and please some person who is greek tell me how to spell the title for the head acolyte who does all the behind the scenes work? I have no idea where to begin. He's that, anyway, and a jeweler, and very nice, and we've been close friends for more than a year :)

I got *very* nice earrings for Christmas this year, pink sapphires and diamonds!

It's been a fact for a while but we told our priest first who basically said "about time you figured it out and did something about it" and then asked our parents' blessings...both sets of parents love who we picked which is great.

Remember that stuff about Cypriot slang? Yeah, that's his family. And that's why I was spinning in circles, χάρηκα παρά πολύ. And now we get to tell people. And it's wonderful fun.

Though if our priest makes any more jokes to Andrew about where he can find nice engagement rings, we might have to retaliate in a pillow throwing fashion. :p

 If you get married to him we'll be distantly related lol. Everybody from Cyprus is related. Do you know what village or district in Cyprus his family is from? My grandfather actually has some family in australia.
