Are you finding those hairy ticks in your neck of the woods too?
One of our parishioners came down with Lyme's Disease after being bit by the ticks we have around here in Los Angeles.
How tick will travel.
Everytime we trim our bushes we have to check ourselves. We have skunks, red fox, and coyotes, never mind those rats and mice that are out of control. Those pesky animals seem to be covered with those ticks.
Oh, and they stopped trapping the coyotes because they are helping to control the rat population. They seem to be better at it than domestic cats who are overfed and just play with the vermin.

Yes but do they leave the dead mice/rats on your front porch as an offering like domestic cats will?
Love visiting my grandma's farm and walking out on the porch only to find a dead mouse laying on the welcome mat, left by one of the farm cats. I guess it was left to prove their worth?

My cat killed an 8 inch Norway rat last year. The vermin was fat (obviously pregnant).
Left it right on our doormat so we would not miss it.
I got the impression that the cat was smart enough not to eat it.
He likes the food we give him.

After hauling 220 lbs of threadmill upstairs we snoozed a bit too late... Oh well... PSL on Wednesday! Every muscle in my body hurts but I have a massage scheduled for tomorrow so it should get better then.
Hope everyone is having a good Sunday. It started raining here so hopefully I'll get stuff done inside today.

After taking vicodin and flexeril right before I went to bed arround 10 pm I got up arround 8 for about 30 minutes and then went back to bed until just now. I had to take them because I threw my back out yesterday and was in bad pain all day. Unfortunately I can't go to PSL on Weds because I work 3-11 this week. You are not the only one... take heart ... I am worse of all... I got the material to make my daughter jumpers two months ago....
and still have not started them...arrrgggrrrr... Khaleas I got an eliptical this week and we hauled it in ... just like you did... Thank got it had wheels and we placed it in the first floor by the big tv... Now I have to get into using it... I only used it twice this week. So this coming one I am again putting time restrain on my web.. on my comp. and I am back on schedule....

Hello! I went to church today and afterwards they were selling baklava (left over from St. Patrick's Day parade........our church float one the St. Patrick's Award......highest honor of parade) and so I bought 2 pieces! WOOT! Going to eat one soon............WOO HOO! After church I headed to the gym right away and worked out and then came home and immediately cooked and ate. Now just watching tv and being a lazy bum!!!
