Well, things are ok this side of the Rhein.

Oh, and we have a new president, here he is :

Good morning everyone! Today is lovely here in Colorado! I am so excited, I've waited 16 years to see my basement get finished and today they are texturing the walls. We should be able to paint hopefully this weekend. Hooray!!!

Barnes dog is back from the vet. Fortunately they didn't have to put him under but it took 3 techs and the vet to hold him down to get him to understand that he was outnumbered. Then he just chilled and let them cut the mat off that was stuck between his pawpads and so. Silly dog! Fortunately they charged me the visit fee and not a bunch of other things so we escaped with just 36 bucks on the silly dog foot. PHEW!
He has a little scratch on the foot too but with him trying to climb trees I wasn't surprised.
Well, hubs is out getting his home brew kit after 6 months of pondering so I get a bit of a quiet moment and an attempt to get rid of my headache. Sometimes my head just begs for a thunderstorm.
