  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

don't know if I posted about it but we have another Azar's convert. :p Hubs has been rather fond of Lebanese food after the port calls in Dubai and his short stay in Bahrain (that's what they call local food there) so I have a feeling we're going to Azar's more and more now. He's addicted to Tabboleh and I'm going to make an attempt and making that and Fatteh Hummus (warm hummus)... He's really picky normally but this cruise has opened his eyes on a lot of grub. YAY!!!

Ok, no more folding clothes for today... it never ends...

I could live on tabouleh, but I think I'd run through about twenty toothbrushes a year! The parsley always gets caught in my teeth, but I LOVE the stuff! For those not familiar with it, here's a link to a recipe.

My work schedule rotates. This week I am on afternoons, next week I am on nights and then the week after that I am on days. Thus when I am on line is dictated by when I am at work.

He is cute, but he is an escape artist and he loves to make everything out to be a game. He got loose this morning because somehow the gate on the fence was left open last night and I had to chase him arround 2 neighbors yards before he finally stopped and looked at me with a look that said "well aren't you going to pick me up?"

Aahh the pure thing... he must be exhausted. I got mine to the park today and she is exhausted she did a lot of walking but the vet said she is overweight... about 4 pounds and that is a lot for small dogs. she is 23 LB and she should be around 19 LB. She is on a diet food and she needs to exercise too.

Tikhon weighs 7.6 lbs and can outrun me for very long distances. I don't think he was tired, I just think he got lost and was distracted from his play so he figured he would bum a ride off me home! LOL!
