Just pulling my straw to the stack... :D

It's oh so seriously Gordon Biersch time tonight! I don't have to cook  . They are tapping their Fest Bier! Not that I drink it but those garlic fries would cheer me up after 1.5 hrs at DMV today. I finally have a VA drivers license and I look like someone whacked me. Well, soon I get to change my name so I get a new picture. PHEW!

Any good ideas for anniversary presents? The camcorder I wanted to get doesn't come out til Nov so it will be a Christmas present. I'm thinking some Craftsman tools. Good or no?

Michael: Can't help but notice that you are now quoting Pink Floyd under your username.

"Mother" is an excellent song!

I actually wanted to use: "If you don't eat your meat, how can you have any pudding?" But, it wouldn't fit.

Rooh, rah, rah... :p

Good night y'all! I want to wake up to a nice new shiny Taverna tomorrow. I'm getting sick of these Horse size roaches... (jk, apparently when the old lady next door died and they emptied her house (which apparently had a severe roach infection *GAG* since she was a hoarder of stuff) they now have no where to go and I've seen two in our house). NASTY!!! So fortunately we have a contract with Terminix and Thurs they'll come and spray everything. They are Florida size so nothing to play with. Yuck, yuck, yuck!

OK, Going to bed now!

I got the new Op System disk but it doesn't work. Seems like my CD drive is done too. RIDICULOUS! So for this time, hard drive, sound card and CD drive. And now it's going to take 5 calls to Dell to convince them that the CD drive is done.

Not only that but the well pump has quit working and there's no water in the house!

That's the hard thing about opening the Taverna, you have to fix all these problems. Don't worry I'll get the Baklava. Hope you didn't count em first.

Well folks, prayers were answered though not how I was hoping. The bus company in not confident that I have been making adequet progress and requested a mutual termination of the training agreement.

A door has closed.

I am once more out of a job with rent and bills to pay.

Prayers that another door will open soon would be appreciated.

The good thing is I am free to get along to confession which has not been possible for some time, so I'm looking forward to having a bit of a chat with Father, especially considering the current situation.

Glory to God in everything!

John

I just discovered a delicious pizza that Trader Joes started carrying recently, at least in the store that I visit.

It is their Pesto Pizza. Meatless, loaded with veggies (tomatoes and broccoli) and cheese on a whole wheat crust. I lower the temperature to 350 degrees F and cook it for about 10 minutes on a bare rack (instead of 425 degrees for 10 minutes on a pan). It is the best pizza I have ever eaten and it smells wonderful too.

It would be perfect for St. Patty's day as it is green ...
