Hello all. I'm back from an exciting day of trying on wedding dresses. Gonna do it again on Saturday.

Hmmm...I bet I could have if I'd had more time yesterday. I only had 2 hours before my kids had to be picked up...and there were only a handful of gowns there that were close enough to my size for me to try them on (and even those were falling off of me...)

Were hitting a much larger shop on Saturday...so I expect to have made a decision, or close anyway, by the end of that day.

Good morning, gang! I'm taking kitty to the vet today. I thought he was getting arthritis, but I noticed a big lump on his spine. He's only 11, but hasn't been the same since our other kitty died two years ago.

Absolutely!

I was in a Wedding two years ago, and the Bride found her dress in one day. She went to David's Bridal, tried on 22 gowns and picked lucky #13.

The irony is that she went in with the intent of getting something straight, plain, no frills, (she's a bit of a 'tomboy') and ended up getting a gown with a full skirt, lots of embroidery, and beading on it!

That happened to me, too. There's just something about a wedding dress that makes a girl feel like a princess.

hehe - it's surprising where they get to - I keep losing them - and I've got about 5 or 6 - but still they can disappear.

I just heard from the vet. They decided to keep him overnight. He needs to shave the lump to determine if there is a wound and the lump might be an abcess. If there is no obvious wound, they will do blood work and x-rays. The lump could either be some kind of bone spur or a mass from deep inside that has grown outward.

Just a test - I suppose it could be called a midterm. And I haven't been around because I've spent my spring break in DC on a choir trip.

That's exactly what I'm experiencing...I had my mind set on a plain, no frilly, smooth looking dress...and well....now that I've tried some on, it's a different story.

Everyone please keep me in your prayers. I have had a terrible headache for the past day and a half, and taking tylenol only seems to make it worse.

I'm right with you buddy! I have a headache that won't quit as well.

You might want to speak with your local pharmacist for an alternative to Tylenol. It's knowledgeable advice, and it's free -- can't get any better than that!

The headache was so bad today I called off work and went back to the doctor. The pain was so bad last night that while I went to bed at 9 pm and got up at 11 am I probably only got half the sleep I could have gotten out of it. The doctor was really good and said somehow I managed to strain the muscles in my neck and this was causing the pain. I must not have been in too terrible of a mood 'cuz I managed to say a few very funny things that had the doc laughing. He gave me a very potent combination of Flexeril, Percocet and Naxproxen which in it's first dose has taken much of the unbarable pain away. This is a good thing because I really do need to be able to paint this evening. Hopefully I won't miss anymore days of work. I have already missed 3 this week.

As for you, I pray your headache goes away. They are no fun and not good for you. If you have an icon of St. Luke put it out and ask him to pray for you.
