Squashing your opponent!!!!11!!11!!1!!

It seems there's been a few new YECs around here lately. I find that the typical response to them seems to be "Hi, welcome to CF!!!! Now let me tell you how wrong you are...(then a squashing follows)"

Maybe we TEs could take things a little slower with the newcomers. Simply ask for evidences without telling them they are wrong. When i came here as a YEC i wasn't ready for my mind to be changed, it took time. Maybe we can develope some kind of gradual system to slowly break ppl into realising how wrong they are, instead of just slamming them when their post count is only 4.

Agreed. The Bible Hammer can swing both ways. And plus TE's have the Razor of Logic and Cleaver of Science +1 to wield as well.

Are we brothers and sisters in Christ or an Orky Waaaargh! (been reading up on my WH40K )?

Remember, both new and old, the Kafeteria is always open to socialize and get to know another outside of 'the debate.'

I've been thinking about this for a long time.... long after I recovered from my squashing.
