Spring Cleaning

I'm getting a jump on spring cleaning today. I vacuumed and polished and mopped and blew off porches. I'm so pleased with myself.

All that beautiful Florida weather got you moving huh? I love these warm sunny days, but we have rain in the forecast for the weekend. I wanted to dig in the dirt tomorrow. Guess I will just have to dig in the dirt inside tomorrow. Actually I still have some painting to finish on my new closet...should finish that tomorrow.

I love the smell of fresh paint. For some reason, it reminds me of my childhood.

 

[MotherOfPromise]

Actually I'm beginning to feel a sore throat coming on. Mandy has been sick for about three days with a nasty virus and I'm thinking it may be coming my way.

 

[miggles]

Oh. I'm sorry Prom. Hope y'all feel better. Do you have any throat lozenges?

Thanks. I do. I just got some for Mandy a couple days ago.

I have to go to the dermatologist about this rash on my nose.

 

[MotherOfPromise]

I thought I had a problem once with a sore spot that was on my nose. It just didn't seem to ever heal. When I saw the doctor he immediately put my mind at rest. He told me I needed to use a milder cleanser and something very gentle to scrub with. It cleared up right away. Maybe your rash will be the same way.

Oh, I hope so. I wonder what I'm using that might be disagreeing with my skin. I use face creams a lot. I wonder which one is it.

We switched over to all natural products quite a while back. It does cost more but they are so much better for your skin. Mandy became a represenative just so we could get the sellers discount. You wouldn't believe some of the things that are put in cosmetics and skin care products. Many of them actually do more harm than good.

It is quite possible that you have an allergy, they usually come from the chemical dyes and fragrances.

I have a little eczema. And my skin is very sensitive.

Mineral oil or petrolatum is really bad to use. Most of the words that you cannot pronounce on the bottles will be harmful.

Where O where did you get the energy for that? I wish I had some, I've become so lazy lately. It does make you feel soooo good to get in and do it all too. It's pretty warm weather here, I guess too warm, it was 41 celcius in my garage today. It makes you feel lethargic, even if you've got an aircon. I love Spring and Autumn (Fall), they're the best times of the year.

Those are my favorites too. Tav. I especially like it in the spring when everything begins to take on new life. I am so glad God gives us new life in him.

Just looked out my window and noticed that I have some daffodills blooming.
Near here each spring there is a daffodill festival where they have just acres and acres of them blooming. It is beautiful.

My mother likes daffoldills, too. And the spring. She keeps wondering when the azaleas are going to bloom.

I like the autumn best.

 

[MotherOfPromise]

Azeleas are beautiful. I like them too. I'm not sure I've ever met a flower I didn't like. They always remind me of our great creative God.

I think I like the excitement and expectancy of new things that come in spring.
I like the nostalgic feeling of fall. Thoughts of saying goodby to summer days and looking forward to warm cozy evenings by the fire.
