Spring Break

Well, this week is spring break. I declined to go anywhere with my friends and as such I am one of the few left in my dorm. I declined because i wanted to work my tail off and get done with everything.

It seems I just feel an almost overwhelming urge to be lazy. In a day where I should have read at least 80 pages I did 15.

I'd ask you all to pray for my apathy but even then that's laziness because I know I should at least put some effort into it myself!

Mark, colleges have a spring break for a reason--so the students can rest. Don't beat yourself up for not getting a lot done, accept that God knows what he is doing when he allows colleges to take a break mid-semester!

Now, go see a movie, take a walk in a park, take a bike ride--but put down those books and take a break darn it!

Well, I can honestly say I need a break. But Dang it. If I would have known I was gonna be apathetic Id be on a beach in florida, or in some po-dunk town in alabama eating homecooked korean food rather than microwaved scrambled eggs and hotdogs

haha, yep, know what you mean. Before you know it the time will be over and all it leaves you is a sunken feeling.

My advice is to set a time table combining both lazy/apathetic times and productive study.

I wake and set aside 3 hours (in Jammies still as a shower breaks the routine), stay in a room with no distractions/take the phone off the hook (you will live) and acheive what you set out to acheive.

The be apathetic and don't shower til 7pm (poo) after you have consumed three pizza's (boxes on the floor) watch all the soapies on tv or get your nose into a non study, totally useless book.

My friend James lives there and his mom is korean and makes good food, even southern home cookin', Ohhh Yea!

On a side note I've been trying to work on a paper for an hour. I keep getting distracted. I'm thinkin it may be best to goto the library.
