I guess it depends in the family and me and my wife both work full time. If we don't go away in isolation a few weeks a year we don't get the time we would like. I don't know about you but I find when I stay home I never rest much. Last few times I tried it I ended up renovating or cleaning up the shed then relos visited. Going up into the mountins in a tent with a campfire is Ahh so peaceful and cheap

it's nice there marvelling at Gods creation.
Yes,it is a wonderful and a restful thing to marvel at God's creation.
I feel and think that I need to take a vacation to a tropical Island at least once a year in order for me to keep my sanity. Performing does the same thing ,also.
An Air Traffic Controler is the number one most stressful job in the country. One mistake and hundreds of people will die. My job,a Clinical Laboratory Scientist,is ranked at number four. If I make a mistake, the doctor would make the wrong diagnosis on a patient. The patient could die. In the Blood Bank,if I make a mistake, while giving the patient the wrong type of blood, the paitent could and would die. So,I have to be perfect,or else some poor patient will die. Yet,God
did not make me perfect. That is the situation that I face for five days a week.
Now,many people can do my job. But,many people will not do my job. Because, many people cannot stand to work with, and stand the sight of seeing blood, urine, sputum, and last but not least,.......poop.
I do not like the smell of poop. But,while working at Stanford Medical Center, what got me through the thought and the awful smell of working with poop, was this. This poop is my ticket for going on vacation to places like Hawaii and Tahiti.
You see,I had to go through the
agony (poop smelling),in order to get to the
ecstacy(a tropical island vacation and/or a cruise).
In other words,I had to go through a lot of s......,in order for me to go on a cruise.

Now do you all know why I love cruising so much?
