We are encouraged and told by our Lord Jesus to love one another.

34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

I wanted to express my love to you all by giving thanks and create a daily post thread.

All you have to do is post one thing you are thankful for each day.

I will start:

I'm thankful for the summer. I will never forget the precious days growing up and going to the beach with my entire family

I am thankful for my wife, who encourages me to press on when my own strength fails me, to look to Christ when I am too distracted by the worries of this world.

I'm thankful for all of you who I find in Christ .
When I was younger I used to feel very alone and like I had no one there with me, but now that Christ found me when I was by myself like that, I realize I'm not alone anymore, He is always with me, and along with that, I now belong to a family with more people in it than I can count! Thank you Lord for all my brothers and sisters, may they all be blessed in their pursuit of your Kingdom.

I am thankful for a great weekend of training, teaching, and fellowship with other youth ministers.

My recent thank you to God is for the new job he blessed me with that I will be starting on Monday.

I am thankful that God looks after me, even when I make mistakes. He has a plan for me, and He is not willing to allow me to destroy that plan. I scored a 36 on the MACT, which is a very good score. And it had everything to do with God, because none of the areas that I was weak on had questions on my exam. I only scored a 28 on the practice test a week before that. I should have spent more time preparing, but God's grace covers all of our mistakes.

You know what! I am thankful for the same thing. My Fiancee in prayer was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life

I am thankful that there are still good movies that are uplifting and that portray positive family values! (Like Marley and Me, a true diamond in the rough coal that is normally Hollywood movies these days)
