hey guys,

we have to consider that the christianity is weaking in these days especially in Europe and the west.
we can see that the most people doesn't attend church, and 40% in the Netherlands doesn't have religion so we have to spread the christianity there, and in the Soviet Union,we have to save these lovely people, they have to know Jesus and believe in him.
so we have to send missionaries to these countries and to previous Communist countries such as :Czech Republic.

God bless,
Edwar

I agree. my heart goes out for west. the church is being squeezed out. its ironical that the modern day western culture and clear judeo-christian influence. West is readily accepting Islam and eastern pagan Gods, but find it difficult to relate to Jesus. Its the old lie of the devil that Christianity is irrelevant.

Lets pray for all western counties and acept call to serve there

God bless you for your concern, Edwar. There is a related thread on the Forums here about the increasingly vigorous and successful effort to re-instill Christianity in Europe, particularly in many European countries on the Continent (as there has apparently been little success and more resistance in the UK).

Some wise members of our community have initiated an intensive effort to minister and spread the Gospel in the European heartlands, with Germany apparently as the focal point-- and this involves not merely preaching there, but relocating, living and raising one's family there. As I wrote in another post myself, I have already noticed a remarkable number of missionaries from North America, Australia and New Zealand who are doing extraordinary things in Germany, France and Italy in particular, and not only preaching but fully integrating as members of these societies.

So, take heart, this effort is already underway, my friend. ;) The most important factors are learning the relevant language-- with German having special importance even outside of Germany for ministry efforts and general European living-- and working and raising one's family in the new home. The North Americans and Australians that I met in France recently, were uniformly excellent French-speakers (with most having some knowledge of German as well), and they were contributing to their adopted lands, which made them and, in turn, their preaching of the Gospel welcome. Those in Italy were doing the same thing in Italian, and again making themselves welcome.

I am sure we would all be delighted for you to join in on these efforts!

Hi,

I'm also concerned about the same regarding Europe. As wearelegion9, I also saw the other thread, but I didn't want to kill their enthusiasm so I think I post my negative thoughts here instead. I think Europe is too rich and too self-satisfied. We think we can manage without God. Another important reason for the current status is humanism. Europeans believe that everybody is good if you just give them the chance - except Christians because they have had their chance and still are negative to homosexuals and palestinian suicide bombers.

One excampel of this from Norway is the churches has been pushed for a long time to fully accept homosexual priests and everytime a conservative pastor/preast is in media saying homosexuality is a sin officials at all level are furious. But now recently, one member of the national council for muslems was asked about his opinion on death penalty for homosexuals. He refused to give any reply to that question. The debate about this has been going on ever since, but the politicians are quiet about this. Why this difference in raction? The only explanation I can find (except spiritual) is that they think that muslims will become hunamists if they're only given the chance.

Maybe we need another major crisis before we turn back to God. We should pray, though, that God will send his revival before we get to that point - and get some Americans if he can't find anybody in Europe to do the job for him.

But as you may read in my blog (more to be added), I think that we can make a great change in the world if join our forces. Personally, I'm more concerned about people in Asia and Africa than my lost fellow Norwegians, but I praise God for all he is calling to same us - we certainly need it!

I don't know what is the reason for the decline of christianity, maybe because of the money, the people of the west doesn't need God at all, because they have money, and the Islam is popular in the west,so how we could stop this decline?.
how we could make christianity fast growing religion(it's the only true religion),in Europe?

thanks,
Edwar
