There has to be a healthy BALANCE of GRACE and TRUTH or you go into the wilderness of BABYLONIAN EGYPTIAN SLAVERY again! Come into the PROMISED LAND.

Grace- the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.

Truth- the quality or state of being true.

"The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, FULL of GRACE and TRUTH.

John testified concerning Him. He cried out, saying, “This is He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me, because He was BEFORE me.’”

From His fullness we have all received GRACE UPON GRACE. For THE LAW was given through MOSES; GRACE and TRUTH came through JESUS CHRIST. No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father’s side, has made Him known."

"Then Jesus said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will DIE in YOUR SIN. Where I go you cannot come.”

So the JEWS said, “Will He kill Himself, because He says, ‘Where I go you cannot come’?”

And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for IF you do not believe that I AM HE, YOU WILL DIE in YOUR SINS.”

Then they said to Him, “Who are You?”

And Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning. I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him.”

They did not understand that HE SPOKE TO THEM OF THE FATHER.

Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.” As He spoke these words, many believed in Him." John 8:21-30

This is talking to the JEWS of the MOSAIC LAW. You cannot serve BOTH Laws for JUSTIFICATION/SALVATION and be DOUBLE-MINDED. Genuine faith produces obedient works unto Jesus Christ, naturally.

"Now I want to REMIND you, although you ONCE fully knew it, that JESUS, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who DID NOT BELIEVE" Jude 1:5

"Now because Jesus was doing these things on the SABBATH, the JEWS began to PERSECUTE Him. But Jesus answered them, “To this very day My Father is at His work, and I too am working.”

Because of this, the JEWS tried all the harder to kill Him. Not only was He breaking the SABBATH, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.

So Jesus replied, “TRULY, TRULY, I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, unless He sees the Father doing it. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does. The Father loves the Son and shows Him all He does. And to your amazement, He will show Him even greater works than these. For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom He wishes.

Furthermore, the Father judges no one, but has assigned all judgment to the Son, so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does NOT HONOR THE SON does NOT HONOR THE FATHER who sent Him.

TRULY, TRULY, I tell you, whoever hears My word and BELIEVES HIM who SENT ME has ETERNAL LIFE and will NOT come under JUDGEMENT. Indeed, he has crossed over FROM DEATH to LIFE.

TRULY, TRULY, I tell you, the hour is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted the Son to have life in Himself. And He has given Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man. Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear His voice and come out—those who have done GOOD to the resurrection of LIFE, and those who have done EVIL to the resurrection of JUDGEMENT.

I can do nothing by Myself; I judge only as I hear. And My judgment is just, because I DO NOT SEEK MY OWN WILL, but the WILL OF HIM who sent Me." John 5:16-30

Watch out for Mr. Worldly Wiseman! Too much WORLDLY KNOWLEDGE (SCIENCE, EDUCATION, Linguistics, HISTORY, GENEALOGIES, Philosophy, THEOLOGY DEGREES) makes a SMART man FOOLISH! The wisdom of the SECULAR WORLD is foolishness! Knowledge puffs up, Love builds up! OBEDIENCE to CHRIST!

"It is because of him that you are in CHRIST JESUS, who has become for us WISDOM from GOD--that is, our RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS and REDEMPTION." 1 Corinthians 1:30

"Let no one deceive himself. If any of you thinks he is wise in this age, he should become a fool, so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness.” And again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are FUTILE.”

Therefore stop boasting IN MEN. All things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future. All of them belong to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God." 1 Corinthians 3:18-23

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:

“I will DESTROY the WISDOM of the WISE;

WHERE is the wise man? WHERE is the scribe? WHERE is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know Him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

Jews demand signs and Greeks search for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength" 1 Corinthians 1:18-25

In this regard, there is a lack of good fruit stemming from the absence of sanctification in the Spirit. Particularly self-discipline that comes as a result of spiritual maturity and obedience.

An injustice which I blame many of the Newest Translations (specifically the Passion Translation) that blasphemously omits God's Holy nature and replace it with a timid and incomplete Jesus Christ.

"Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from SINFUL DESIRES, which WAGE WAR against your SOUL." 1 Peter 2:11

Soul- the moral and emotional nature of human beings
the quality that arouses emotion and sentiment
spiritual or moral force.

So when sinful habits become commonplace, they are invited into the human soul and fill it with darkness. Peter is referring to a necessary component of the human capacity that is needed to love God. This is why lust (of the world, things other than God) obstructs the spirit of revelation of the FULL KNOWLEDGE of CHRIST. IDOLS and SPIRITUAL ADULTERY!

"And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

Little children, keep yourselves from idols" 1 John 5:20-21

"until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, as we mature to the full measure of the stature of Christ.

Then we will no longer be INFANTS, TOSSED ABOUT by the WAVES and carried around by every WIND of TEACHING and by the CLEVER CUNNING of MEN in their DECEITFUL SCHEMING. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ Himself, who is the head. From Him the whole body is fitted and held together by every supporting ligament. And as each individual part does its work, the body grows and builds itself up in love." Ephesians 4:13-16

"Do not love the world [of sin that opposes God and His precepts], nor the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust and sensual craving of the flesh and the lust and longing of the eyes and the boastful pride of life [pretentious confidence in one’s resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father, but are from the world. The world is passing away, and with it its lusts [the shameful pursuits and ungodly longings]; but the one who does the will of God and carries out His purposes lives forever." 1 John 2:15-17

"He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your HEART and with all your SOUL and with all your STRENGTH and with all your MIND’ and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

“You have answered CORRECTLY,” Jesus said. “DO THIS and you will LIVE.”

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to TEST and APPROVE what God's WILL IS--his good, pleasing and perfect will" Romans 12:2

Part of God's Love is also hating the things God hates. Do you KNOW Him?

"My little children (believers, dear ones), I am writing you these things so that you will not sin and violate God’s law. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate [who will intercede for us] with the Father: Jesus Christ the righteous [the upright, the just One, who conforms to the Father’s will in every way—purpose, thought, and action]. And He [that same Jesus] is the propitiation for our sins [the atoning sacrifice that holds back the wrath of God that would otherwise be directed at us because of our sinful nature—our worldliness, our lifestyle]; and not for ours alone, but also for [the sins of all believers throughout] the whole world.

And this is how we know [daily, by experience] that we have come to know Him [to understand Him and be more deeply acquainted with Him]: if we habitually keep [focused on His precepts and obey] His commandments (teachings). Whoever says, “I have come to know Him,” but does not habitually keep [focused on His precepts and obey] His commandments (teachings), is a liar, and the truth [of the divine word] is not in him. But whoever habitually keeps His word and obeys His precepts [and treasures His message in its entirety], in him the love of God has truly been perfected [it is completed and has reached maturity]. By this we know [for certain] that we are in Him: whoever says he lives in Christ [that is, whoever says he has accepted Him as God and Savior] ought [as a moral obligation] to walk and conduct himself just as He walked and conducted Himself." 1 John 2:1-6

"These six things the Lord hates;
Indeed, seven are repulsive to Him:

A proud look [the attitude that makes one overestimate oneself and discount others], a lying tongue,
And hands that shed innocent blood,

A heart that creates wicked plans,
Feet that run swiftly to evil,

A false witness who breathes out lies [even half-truths],
And one who spreads discord (rumors) among brothers." Proverbs 6:16-19

"We love, because He first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates (works against) his [Christian] brother he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should also [unselfishly] love his brother and seek the best for him." 1 John 4:19-21

In my experience, the most valuable of the spiritual gifts is described in 1 Corinthians 12:8

"To one is given through the [Holy] Spirit [the power to speak] the message of wisdom, and to another [the power to express] the word of knowledge and understanding according to the same Spirit"

This is the only way to explain God's Word in a way that even the scientific/intellectual community can grasp through logic and reason. There are some people in this world who will not believe even after seeing signs, wonders, and miracles. The gift of Spiritual wisdom accurately articulates mysteries of the Spirit/Word to believers, but also to unbelievers in a practical way that the carnal/normal/natural mind can understand. That's the ability to prophesy.

"Now, brothers, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you, unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching? Even in the case of lifeless instruments, such as the flute or harp, how will anyone recognize the tune they are playing unless the notes are distinct? Again, if the trumpet sounds a muffled call, who will prepare for battle? So it is with you. Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will just be speaking into the air" 1 Corinthians 14:6-9

"Whom will he teach knowledge?
And whom will he make to understand the message?
Those just weaned from milk? (1 Corinthians 13:1-9, 1 Peter 2:1-3, Hebrews 5:11-14)
Those just drawn from the breasts?
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept,

For with stammering lips and another tongue

I noticed that the more spiritually mature believers get through God's Love, the more child-like their facial features become, regardless of physical age. The SPIRIT transforms us into GROWN CHILDREN through love. ANGEL FACE!

"It is because of HIM that you are in CHRIST JESUS, who has BECOME for us WISDOM from GOD--that is, our RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS and REDEMPTION" 1 Corinthians 1:30

WISDOM and POWER.

"Who is like the WISE man?
And who knows the interpretation of a matter?
A man’s WISDOM ILLUMINES his FACE,
And causes his STERN face to BEAM." Ecclesiastes 8:1

"Now Stephen, FULL of GRACE and POWER, was performing GREAT WONDERS and SIGNS among the people. But resistance arose from what was known as the Synagogue of the Freedmen, including Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and men from the provinces of Cilicia and Asia. They began to argue with Stephen, but they could not stand up to his WISDOM or the SPIRIT by whom he spoke.

Then they prompted some men to say, “We heard Stephen speak words of blasphemy against Moses and against God.” So they stirred up the people and elders and scribes. They seized Stephen and brought him before the Sanhedrin.

They presented FALSE WITNESSES who said, “This man never stops speaking against this holy place and AGAINST THE LAW. For we have heard him say that JESUS of NAZARETH will destroy this place and CHANGE the CUSTOMS that MOSES handed down to US.”

All who were sitting in the Sanhedrin looked intently at Stephen, and they saw that HIS FACE WAS LIKE THE FACE OF AN ANGEL. (Acts 6:8-15)

Love that does not lead to Repentance is no Love at all.

Sober- not affected by alcohol; not drunk. Clearheaded.

Prudent- acting with or showing care and thought for the future.

Shrewd- having or showing sharp powers of judgment; astute.

Wise- having or showing experience, knowledge, and good judgment.

Ditzy- silly or scatterbrained.

Frivolous- (of a person) carefree and not serious.

Scatter-brained- (of a person) disorganized and lacking in concentration.

Unwise- (of a person or action) not wise or sensible; foolish.

Someone who is not disciplined or discipled in the spiritual realm by the Holy Spirit/Word will never be able to clearly see the spiritual evils that have infiltrated many of the contemporary Christian schools of Mysticism/Supernatural ministry. Their judgement is shrouded by sensuality/emotionalism and (faulty indoctrination). That is why people are exchanging/calling that which is good, evil and that which is evil, good. There are few that TEST the spirits to the SCRIPTURAL WORD as we are COMMANDED in (1 John 4:1-6 AMP). These are times where darkness is exchanged for light, and light for darkness.

"But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters]. But the spiritual man [the spiritually mature Christian] judges all things [questions, examines and applies what the Holy Spirit reveals], yet is himself judged by no one [the unbeliever cannot judge and understand the believer’s spiritual nature]. For who has known the mind and purposes of the Lord, so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ [to be guided by His thoughts and purposes]." 1 Corinthians 2:14-16

"These [false teachers] are springs without water and mists driven by a tempest, for whom is reserved the gloom of black darkness. For uttering arrogant words of vanity [pompous words disguised to sound scholarly or profound, but meaning nothing and containing no spiritual truth], they beguile and lure using lustful desires, by sensuality, those who barely escape from the ones who live in error. They promise them liberty, when they themselves are the slaves of depravity—for by whatever anyone is defeated and overcome, to that [person, thing, philosophy, or concept] he is continually enslaved. For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world by [personal] knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, their last condition has become worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them not to have [personally] known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to have turned back from the holy commandment [verbally] handed on to them. The thing spoken of in the true proverb has happened to them, “The dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “A sow is washed only to wallow [again] in the mire.”" 2 Peter 2:17-22

I can agree about this, to some extent. What many people don't take time o research, is that many of the practices by some of the famous 'relationship/religious' celebrities are sprinkling in some eastern (pagan) practices in the name of the Lord (not Scriptural) and marketing a 'feel-good' Gospel that removes (Biblical) Christo-centric focus.

JESUS/GOD clearly COMMANDS REPENTANCE unto SALVATION. In WHATEVER WAY WE TEACH, the REPENTANCE MESSAGE should be CLEAR as well, or else WE are BEING FALSE and LYING against the TRUTH. There is NO DEBATE. REPENTANCE is REQUIRED/MANDATORY for SALVATION. I hope it is clear. LOVE is preaching the MESSAGE that SAVES their SOUL (ROMANS 2:4). TEST the PROPHETS and TEACHERS. SOME of them have been ENSNARED by the DEVIL to CARRY out the DEVIL'S WILL. (2 TIMOTHY 2:14-26)

"And HE said, "Who told you that you were NAKED? Have you eaten from the tree that I COMMANDED you NOT to EAT FROM?" (Tree of KNOWLEDGE) Genesis 3:11/ REVELATIONS 3:14-22

"So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day];" Acts 3:19

Love leads unto Salvation, but the message of Salvation does not ALWAYS lead to Love. Doing is more blessed than hearing/experiencing. Steward that love continually in a way that touches other people and be sanctified in the Spirit unto holiness.

"Little children (believers, dear ones), let us not love [merely in theory] with word or with tongue [giving lip service to compassion], but in action and in truth [in practice and in sincerity, because practical acts of love are more than words]" 1 John 3:18

"Understand this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Let everyone be quick to hear [be a careful, thoughtful listener], slow to speak [a speaker of carefully chosen words and], slow to anger [patient, reflective, forgiving]; for the [resentful, deep-seated] anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God [that standard of behavior which He requires from us]. So get rid of all uncleanness and all that remains of wickedness, and with a humble spirit receive the word [of God] which is implanted [actually rooted in your heart], which is able to save your souls. But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]. For if anyone only listens to the word without obeying it, he is like a man who looks very carefully at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he IMMEDIATELY FORGETS what he looked like. But he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully ABIDES by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does [in his life of obedience].

If anyone thinks himself to be religious [scrupulously observant of the rituals of his faith], and does not control his tongue but deludes his own heart, this person’s religion is worthless (futile, barren). Pure and unblemished religion [as it is expressed in outward acts] in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit and look after the fatherless and the widows in their distress, and to keep oneself uncontaminated by the [secular] world." James 1:19-27

Sometimes God is leading us to see the BIGGER MESSAGES of the Word, rather than the semantics, hundreds of commandments, and fine details of transliteration/translations. (Matthew 23:23-28- Jesus rebukes the hypocrisy of the Pharisees and Teachers of the Mosaic Law). Take care that the light within you is not darkness.

Parable of the Faithful Steward. (Luke 12:42-48)

"The Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and WISE STEWARD [of the estate], whom his master will put in charge over his household, TO GIVE his servants their PORTION of FOOD at the PROPER TIME? Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) is that servant whom his master finds so doing when he arrives. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But if that servant SAYS IN HIS HEART, ‘My master is taking his time in coming,’ and begins to BEAT the SERVANTS, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when HE DOES NOT EXPECT HIM and at an hour HE DOES NOT KNOW, and will CUT HIM IN PIECES, and assign him a place with the unbelievers. And THAT SERVANT who KNEW his MASTER'S WILL, and yet did not get ready or ACT IN ACCORD with HIS WILL, will be beaten with many lashes [of the whip], but the one who did NOT KNOW it and did things worthy of a beating, will receive only a FEW [lashes]. From everyone to whom MUCH has been GIVEN, MUCH will be REQUIRED; and to whom they ENTRUSTED MUCH, of HIM they will ASK all the more.

"Come now [and pay attention to this], you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and carry on our business and make a profit.” Yet you do not know [the least thing] about what may happen in your life tomorrow. [What is secure in your life?] You are merely a vapor [like a puff of smoke or a wisp of steam from a cooking pot] that is visible for a little while and then vanishes [into thin air]. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and we will do this or that.” But as it is, you boast [vainly] in your pretension and arrogance. All such boasting is evil. So ANY PERSON who KNOWS what is RIGHT to DO but does not do it, TO HIM it IS SIN." James 4:13-17
