Hey all I am in need of advice and I am unsure how to word it. I feel like spiritually I am going around in Circles. because I feel that God is 1000 miles away but I know he is always close by when I need him. I am not in church because I have no car and no church I regualary go to. Its like when I get where I want to be spirtually I take 2 steps backwards. I need prayer about this and maybe someone can help me that has been through this instead of telling God is always there and he will never leave you nor forsake you. You can either post on here or PM me.

I think we all go through times when God seems far away. the important thing is to remember He isn t and to keep reading your Bible daily and praying/talking to Him. could someone from a local church pick you up for services ? i have the same problem myself. don t be surprised if no one will--that has been my expierence or they do for a while and then it gets to be a hassle if it is out of their way. dont mean to be negative but that is what i have seen.

I've been through that too and sometimes I will just sit and try to blank out everything else so I can feel God's presence.
It's really rather neat when you do it on purpose for no other reason then that you can.. especially a God-Hug

And I have the same problem with no car. It's too bad really that nowadays people who attend the same church won't 'go out of their way' to pick up someone without a car or other means of getting there. :sigh:

soul, the path to Christ is a process that we are always on. God has unconditional love. God wants nothing from you for God is omnipotent.

There is no Spiritual "ideal" out there. Part of the path of Christ is simply being human. Often feeling alone. Often feeling happy. Finding the Inner Christ in you will not be the answer to your problems. Rather, taking the challenges of the day with open honest unconditional love is part of the process towards Christ.

There is no perfect relation to one's efforts and one's sense of spirituality. You can't "pray" or "work" your way to spirituality. You must become Christlike. Find work on finding the innerChrist. It starts with unconditional love for everyone-- even yourself. If you don't feel spiritual-- that is no reason not to love yourself. If you don't feel God's presence-- that's no reason to not love yourself.

If you strive for spiritual perfection, and then blame and hate yourself for not achieving it, you're on the wrong path. look for unconditional love in all things.

Maybe you can find another church that has a church bus service. I know a church close to where I live will actually come pick you up. So maybe you can find one that will do that for you. Try calling them and asking. I couldnt hurt. Other than that just keep praying and follow God. Everything will work out if you do that :)

Remember that Satan is the accuser and tells you things that are not true. Satan might tell you that God isn't there, Satan might tell you that God is far away or that you are a sinner, but do not listen to Satan's accusations, remember that God IS there and He is NOT far away. Keep your heart focused on God and always pray (It really works!). God bless!

I just went through a period of extreme trials and tribulation; I felt God wasn't there anymore and that regardless how much I prayed and fed on His word, I was empty....I felt like giving up...but I constantly told myself that He was with me, that He was testing my faith and that I couldn't give up. Now I'm seeing the fruits of the testing and praise God for I've had victory over satan in amazing ways and I've learned to trust God much more. Never give up, He's with us always...you'll see the fruits of the trials and things will be clearer. God Bless you
