  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Well, I guess I can admit this. I was thinking to the last time I cried. I would say it was probably a little over a year ago. It was about 4 days after I got shot. I got a phone call saying that my boss was [wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth]ed and was threatening to fire me if I continued to work the security part time job where I got shot. I just lost. It had finally set in that it was all real and I just came unglued.

I cried at the end of "You've Got Mail." When Meg Ryan sees Tom Hanks at the meeting place and discovers that he is the mystery man, while at the same time her heart "discovers" that she has slowly been falling in love with him.

Lol. Get real! I'm a guy. Do you think that would really make me cry? Psh.

I cried after watching 24: Redemption. I think it hit me hard because I was NOT expecting what I saw at all. I thought it would just be two hours of Jack Bauer's heroic deeds and crappy life; I wasn't expecting it to be about young, scared children brainwashed and forced into being soldiers. I just lost it.

I cried when Jin blew up on the freighter. No. I sobbed.

Awwww.
I might have teared up here, too.

I also cried when watching the 8 simple Rules episode when Paul died.
I cry every time I get to the end of "Where The Red Fern Grows".
I cry when Falkor rescues Atreyu .

Me too! (I think mostly I teared up when Atreyu's horse died... :()

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants... when the little girl is in the hospital and when she dies and when they watch the video tape with her talking on it.

Phantom of the Opera... when Phantom starts crying and tells Christine to leave and forget about him.... or something.

Anne of Avonlea... when Gil proposes after Diana's wedding and Anne refuses.

I practically cried all through Bridge to Terabithia... that movie was awful! Way too sad!

I cried at the end of Schindler's List when the Jews were placing stones on his grave.

I cried pretty much straight through that movie, and it's the same with all movies depicting the Holocaust.

Ugh, I still cry at that part, every time. There's always this little 7-year old horse lover in me that gets traumatized every time I see that scene.

I cried when Alec won the race riding The Black, even after he almost fell off coming out of the gate, and he had to race without holding the reins, and he flashed back to when they were riding on the desert island together...*sniff*

This reminds me, I cried throughout the movie My Life. Good movie, but so sad!
Another great but sad movie (that made me cry at least once) is Reign Over Me.

lol books and movies.

I cried at the end of The Host. Bawled.

I tear up when Atreyu's horse gets sad and sinks into the muck.

When Simba takes his rightful place as King of Pride Rock.

When Pocahontas waves goodbye to John Smith as his ship leaves.

I cried at the episode of Grey's Anatomy this season, when the serial killer was executed. I don't care if he was guilty. Any human being put to death for whatever reason upsets me.

And yes, Schindler's List was so upsetting that I cried through almost the entire thing.

I don't actually cry at the drop of the hat but there are childhood emotions wrapped up in there that wake up every time I watch those Disney movies, lol.
