  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

That was a good one, but he redeemed himself!

Or when Frodo goes on the ship.

Now that I know what that symbolizes, I cry through all three movies up until the part knowing its going to happen..... made this last weekend miserable because they were playing the movies one a night on like tbs or tnt or something

I watched em this past weekend, too lol. Blubber, blubber, blubber, all through the final scene. Especially for poor Sam. I'm like, NO Frodo, you and Sam are a package deal, man! Ugh. Tissues, please.

I was watching some movie recently, and I can't remember what it was, dang it...but there was a scene between a man and woman, and I'd seen it before, and it was all very romantic, and I just start bawling without warning. Cause I thought to myself "There's no man like that in real life". And it kinda broke my heart a little.

I used to close all the windows, make popcorn, get my drinks, and watch all 3 together on my projector (just like the movies, and it's 1080i). I can laugh, cry, cheer, like when Galdaf says "Theoden stands alone, and Eomer says 'He's not alone' ", and you're like YAH! Kick some Urak-hai butt!!!

I feel the same way, poor sam, he went through so much only to have his BFF leave him.

I cried when Jin blew up on the freighter. No. I sobbed.

I didn't cry for Jin (I wasn't sure he was dead, I've watched too many soap operas growing up to be sure without seeing a dead body:D), but I think that I cried for Charlie when he died. I don't think we saw his body, but there was no way he survived that (well through normal means anyways).

Yes, I cried a lot when Charlie died.

I cry every time when Edward comes to the cottage and Elinor finds out he didn't marry Lucy.

I cry when:
1) Sorcha dies in Son of the Shadows
2) Beth dies in Little Women
3) Pretty much through the last few chapters of H.P. and the Deathly Hallows
4) When Wash dies in Serenity
5) When Buffy stabs Angel at the end of season two

and probably a lot of other times as well. I'm not a very weepy person in real life, so I think I get it all out when I'm reading or watching movies.

I cried all through the Notebook, but especially at the end where they die together. lol

What?! Now, I am really glad that I didn't watch that movie. I loved the book and I cried at the end (when no one died but it was revealed that she had Alzheimers).

Number 3 reminds me, I cried when Dobby died.

More LOTR tears...

I cried when Sam says "Don't go where I can't follow" and "I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!", and the poor, weary, bruised, dirty guy lifts up his best friend on his back, and the music soars, and you're like, MAN...that's FRIENDSHIP.

I cried when the good army was facing the evil army at the final showdown at the Black Gate, and Aragorn looked at everyone with tears in his eyes, and smiled and said, "...for Frodo", and then led the charge.

Wahhhhhhhhh!!!
