Took my children to see this last night. A pretty good movie (we will most likely start reading the books now.)
I liked Hogsqueal and Thimbletack.

Word of advice: it was a bit intense for my 4 year old. He enjoyed it- but the ogre at the end had him in my lap.

After seeing the movie trailer months ago for this,I decided to read the books while waiting. They are small(less than 200-pgs each),but such fun. I'm excited to see the film!

This movie was very entertaining! I wished it would have been about 15-20 minutes longer and had a couple more scenes though.

***Warning for parents***

The man that does thumbs up or down (what is his name? )anyway, he feels that this deserved a PG-13 rating. I thought it was really stretching the PG rating so I wasn't suprised to see that he said that and I would almost agree.

I took an 8 yo that had to cover his eyes several times. There were scenes that were too intense for the under 10-11 crowd IMO.

Went to see it last Thursday.I enjoyed it very much.I also agree that it's more for kids over 10,and pushed the PG rating.
