  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's so sad! I have yet to see Spiderman 2! Sadness!!!

Practically all of my friends seriously disliked the movie, so I have no one to watch it with. Alas, I shall have to watch it alone! Oh well, more popcorn for me. :cool:

Speaking of which, does the second movie give away who might be the villian in the next movie at all?

You said it Earnest! Hahaha. Well, in the second movie they don't really let you know that he's gonna be a bad guy, but they kinda hint around that there's a big chance. *sniff sniff. That makes me sad. Cuz if he was a bad guy in the movie, there would be more tension between him and Peter. But if Peter & Harry + Tension = Big Bucks at the box office.

I do believe it's going to have something to do with the Lizard. Venom, from what I've heard, is going to have his very own movie. If you didn't notice, when Parker is talking to his Prof. you can see that he only has one arm. This is how it is with Dr. Conners in the comics.

As much as most everyone would love for Venom to be in 3, Sam Rami said he hates Venom and wouldn't use him. I don't think it'll be GG (Harry continuing his fathers work). I think they'll let that simmer a little. I don't think Sam would repeat him for his last Spider-Man movie, he'll leave that for the next guy. My guess would be Lizard because of the set up with Doc Conners. Mysterio would be cool, but Rhino, Electro, etc. would be weak...sorry.

BTW, check out the name all you phonies... :cool:
