Your doing just fine, you have received a gift.
It isn't that this gift isn't for everyone, or even that it's not real, it's that not everyone believes it is valid, or have received teaching from others against it by people who don't have the gift either, therefore they do not receive it.
When a new born baby begins to speak, what they say in not able to be understood by the Parents, or anyone else for that matter, they speak in short repetitive sentences, (Sound familiar)?
As you grow, as you age in the Lord, your Language will become more extensive, the more you use this Gift the more words and phrases you will acquire.
What you are speaking right now is what would be called a Prayer Language, it's between you and God.
Whenever you Pray, do it privately.
Mat. 6:6
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
1Co 14:1-5
1) Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
2) For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
3) But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
4) He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
5) I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
This is a gift God has given you to build you up Spiritually, don't put yourself into the position of ridicule by those who do not believe, that would be like an Atheist telling you your not Saved because, they don't believe in Salvation.

I have spoken in Tongues for over 50 yrs. my Prayer Language has changed over the years, different sounding Dialects, and words, the words your speaking now might only last for a few Months more or less, and then change
once you gain a more extensive Language, you may never speak these words your now using again.
Remember, it is the Holy Spirit doing the Praying for you, through you.
Rom 8:26-28
26) Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27) And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
