Good morning everyone!

Our words for today are Self Control...

O mighty God, thank you for filling me with your Holy Spirit, and for enabling me to bear the fruit of your Spirit in all the relationships and responsibilites of my life. I especially thank you for the fruit of self-control, and I pray that you will make me more fruitful with regard to self-control, and I pray that you will make me more fruitful with regard to self-control in every area of my life. Because I belong to Christ, I desire to hamve my flesh, with all its passions and desires, crucified with Him. As I live in the Spirit, I ask for your strength to enable me to walk in the Spirit. I realize, mighty God, that as I walk in the Spirit, I shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Thank you, Father.

Therefore, I take good heed toward myself so that I will produce the fruit of self-control wherever I go. Set a watch, O Lord God, before my mouth, and keep the door of my lips. Enable me to rule over my spirit as I endeavor to be sober and vigilant because I know that my enemy, the devil, wanders about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Rebuke him, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ.

O God, help me to control my temper and to successfully overcome all temptation. Thank you for your great faithfulness in my life, and for your promise to not permit me to be tempted above what I am able to bear, and for your promise to make a way of escape for me.

I rejoice in you almighty God my Father.

God bless you very precious ones!

Sorry I haven't been posting in here lately. Things get so busy and I need to learn to put what's really important first - which is our Heavenly Father and His Word!

Today's prayer is about LOVE

Loving Father, help me to always strive to fulfill your law throught love. Show me how to bear the burdens of others and thereby fulfill the Law of Christ. Help me to walk in love at all times.

I realize, Father God, that I am able to love others only because you, who are love, first loved me. Your banner over me is love. Empower me to be a being of love, also, and to obey the commandment of Jesus who said, "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another." Through loving acts that I am able to do, other people will know that I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, and I very much want other people to realize this.

Let my love be completely free of hypocrisy, Father. Help me to love others as Jesus has loved me. Help me to remember the knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. Father, with your help, I will let love be the theme of my life. Keep me ever mindful of the truths about love - how it suffers long, is kind, does not envy, does not lift itself up, is not puffed up, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. That's the kind of love I want in my life Father - a love that never fails. Help me to be sure that everything I do is done with love, and show me how I can serve others through love.

Thank you for the rewards of loving. I love you, Father, and I thank you that you love me.

Today's prayer is about STRENGTH.

Almighty God, I seek your joy which is great strength to me. You are my strength and song, dear Father. You are my strength and my shield. Your right hand, O Lord God, is glorious in power. I claim your promise that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Your ways ar strength to me, Father. In my weakness, you perfect your strength. Thank you, mighty Father. You, Lord God, are my strength, and I will lean on your strength, not my own preseumed ability, because I realize that it's not by mightnor by power, but by your Spirit that I shall prevail. Fill me with your Spirit, Father.

Wisdom and might are yours. Give me your wisdom, and your strength. I will trust in you forever, Lord God, because in you I have everlasting strength. Thank you, Father.

Help me always to remember that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, but it is you, Lord God, my strength, who teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.

Thank you for being my strength and my song, for you, Lord God, have become my salvation.

Today, this is what I feel I need more of in my life. God has been so good to me - I need to be more CONTENT!

Our prayer for today is about contentment.

Lord God, thank you for the gift of godliness which I realize is great gain for me. Sometimes, though, I don't feel content. Help me to experience a greater sense of contentment in my life.

Father, supply me with the things that are my true needs. I thank you for always supplying all of my needs according to your riches in glory through Christ Jesus. I feel great contentment from your promise that your blessing gives one a rich and full supply, and you add no sorrow with it. Thank you for giving me peace with you through my Lord Jesus Christ.

Teach me, Father, to be content with such things as I have, instead of always feeling discontented and wanting more. Help me to learn, as Paul did, to be content in whatever state I find myself. I know, Father, that it would be much better to have just a little when I'm walking with you, thatn to have great treasure along with great trouble.

With your help, I want my eye to be satisfied with what it sees, and my ear to be satisfied with what it hears. Having food and clothing, and all the other blessings you give to me, I will be content. My heart rejoices in you, O Lord God.

I put my trust in you, Father, and I have great joy. Thank you for the awesome promise you've given to me - that goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in your house forever. These wonderful promises give me a full sense of contentment indeed. In Jesus name I pray, Father. Amen.

Our prayer word for today is Temptation

Almighty FAther, thank you for your power which is able to deliver me out of all temptations. I claim your power as I pray for you overcoming strength with regard to the temptation of _______________________.

How I thank you and praise you for the knowledge that the temptations I face are common to people everywhere. Father, I know you are faithful to me, and you will not allow me to betempted beyond my ability to endure. I believe that with every temptation you will provide me with a way to escape that will enable me to endure it. Thank you Father.

therefore, I submit myself to you, knowing that as I do so, when I resist the devil, he will flee from me. Lead me not into temptation, and deliver me from evil, I pray, as I watch and pray so as never willingly enter into temptation. I yield myself to you.

It thrills me to know that as I learn to endure temptation, I can look forward to the crown oflife that you have promised to all those who love you, Father. I also am very thankful to know that you will never bring temptation my way, Lord God. Thank you for showing me that I am tempted when I am drawn away by my own lusts and desires, and I am enticed. Keep me from ever being deceived by this process again, dear Father, because I know that conceived desire brings forth sin and sin brings forth death.

In order to protect myself, therefore, I now put on your perfect armor. Thank you for your helmet of salvation which protects my mind, for I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. Thank you for your helmet of salvation which protects my mind, for I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. Thank you for the breastplate of righteousness which protects my heart. And I especially thank you for the sword of the Spirit (your holy Word), which I will boldly wield against the enemy. Thank you, also, dear Father, for the shield of faith which I will use to quench all the fiery darts of temptation from the wicked one.

Thank you for your promise to deliver me from all temptation.

Hi everyone!

Our prayer for today is about Adversity.

Lord God above, Maker of heaven and earth, I come to you now in the name of my Lord jesus Christ, seeking the strength I need in order to endure the adversities of the present time. Help me to be like Paul and to confidently proclaim, "I am perplexed, but not in depair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed." I realize, Father, that such a statement is possible only through the strength you impart to me.

In fact, you are my strength and my song, and you have become my salvation, ,Father. Your right hand, O Lord God, has become glorious in power. Thank you for the power of your right hand in the midst of my adversity. Thank you, Father, for fighting the adversity I face for me. Impart your joy to me, O God because I know this is a source of great strength for me.

Lord God, you are my strength and my shield. You are my strength and song. Your ways are strength to me. Give me your wisdom, and strengthen me. I thank you for your wisdom which is better than strength. In quietness and in confidence I trust you, Father, and I will trust in you forever, because you are my everlasting strength.

Lord God, because I know you, I know I shall experience your strength in the face of adversity. Thank you for making your strength perfect in the face of my weakness and adversity.

Hi everyone! Our prayer for today is for Broken Heartedness.

Oh God, sometimes I wonder if there is healing for my broken heart and all the hurts I've accumulated. Your Word assures me, however, that you will bind up my wounds and your hands will make me whole. Thank you, Father, for all the promises of your Word.

Help me to regain a merry heart, Lord God, because I know that a merry heart does one good, like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones. Through faith, I claim your promise that the stripes of Jesus Christ will bring healing to my broken heart.

Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed. Thank you for the ongoing ministry of my Lord Jesus Christ whom you anointed to heal the broken-hearted and to proclaim deliverance to the captives. I express faith to you, Father and I receive your healing for my broken heart. Thank you.

Restore my soul. Renew my strength as I wait upon you. Help me to fully believe and to claim your promise that the old things are passed away, and you are making all things new in my life. Father, with your aid, I will walk in wholeness and renewal from this time forward. Thank you for all that you've done for me.

Show me how to forgive those who have hurt me, Father. Through your grace, I will walk in love and forgiveness toward them and all others. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer.

Today the prayer is for Healing. I believe in God's power to heal.

Oh Lord, God, heal me and I know I will be healed, because you are the Lord who heals me, and it is by the stripes of Jesus that I am able to experience your healing power. Thank you for showing me, dear Father, that you want, above all else, for me to walk in health. I believe the great and precious promises of your Word, dear Father.

Mighty God, I express faith to you that you can heal me, make me clean, and give me wholeness. Thank you for the prayer of faith which will save me from my sickness. Give me a merry heart which will do me more good than a medicine.

Your Word assures me that you will always seek that which was losst, and bring again that which was driven away. You will bind up that which is broken, and you will strengthen the sick. Thank you for your mighty strength which is at work in my life even as I pray, Father.

You are my Great Physician. You are my healing Balm of Gilead. I trust in you with all my heart, leaning not unto my own understanding. In this time of sickness, I acknowledge you, and I know you will direct my paths.

I believe you Word, Father God, which tells me that Jesus himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses, and that with his stripes, I am healed. Like the woman with the issue of blood I believe that the faith that you've imparted to me is making me whole as I now receive my healing by faith.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I will rise up and walk in restored health and long life. Thank you, Father for healing me.

Today's prayer is Knowing God's Will...

Father, in Jesus' name, I thank You that You are instructing me in the way which I should go and that You are guiding me with Your eye. I thank you for Your guidance and leading concerning Your will, Your plan, and Your purpose for my life. I do hear the voice of the good Shepherd, for I know You and follow You. You lead me in the paths of righteousness for Your name's sake.

Thank You, Father; that my path is growing brighter and brighter until it reaches the full light of day. As I follow You, Lord, I believe my path is becoming clearer each day.

Thank You, Father; that Jesus was made unto me wisdom. Confusion is not a part of my life. I am not confused about Your will for my life. I trust in You and lean not unto my own understanding. As I acknowledge You in all my ways, You are directing my paths. I believe that as I trust in You completely, You will show me the path of life. Amen

Today, our prayer is for safety.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You that You watch over Your Word to perform it. I thank You that I dwell in the secret place of the Most High and that I remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty whose power no foe can withstand.

Father, You are my refuge and my fortress. No evil shall befall me - no accident shall overtake me - nor any plague or calamity come near my home. You give Your angels special charge over me, to accompany and defend and preserve me in all my ways of obedience and service. They are encamped around about me.

Father, You are my confidence, firm and stron. you keep my foot from being caught in a trap or hidden danger. Father, You give me safety and easy me - Jesus is my safety!

Traveling - As I go, I say, "Let me pass over to the other side," and I have what I say. I walk on my way securely and in confident trust, for my heart and mind are firmly fixed and stayed on You, and I am kept in perfect peace.

Sleeping - Father, I sing for joy upon my bed because You sustain me. In peace I lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. I lie down and I am not afraid. My sleep is sweet for You give blessings to me in sleep. Thank You, Father, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Today's verses are on forgiveness...

I am useful and helpful and kind to others, tenderhearted (compassionate, understanding, loving-hearted), forgiving others readily and freely, as God in Christ forgave me. Ephesians 4:32

I am gentle and forbearing with others and, if someone has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against me, I readily pardon him; even as the Lord as freely forgiven me, so must I also forgive. Colossians 3:13

The word for today is determination

I wait for the Lord [I expect, look for and hope in Him]. I shall change and renew my strength and power. I shall lift up my wings and mount up close to God as eagles mount up to the sun; I am determined to run and not be weary, I shall walk and not faint or become tired. Isaiah 40:31

I set my mind and keep it set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things on the earth. Colossians 3:2
