I have Cherokee and Choctaw ancestry, and I like the imagery. I have relations to the Cherokee Tribe of Oklahoma. How about you?

Most recently, my Cherokee relations are in Arkansas, but further back they are from several places: Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina primarily. They seem to have moved around a lot. One lineage I have been able to trace back to Dempsey and Obedience Tyner. Finding confirmed ancestors on the Dawes Roll in that short 14-16 year period that they were registering people though is considerably more difficult.
