  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Well, now that Spain is headed down the road to secularism (which has been expected for decades), we can possibly hope for Poland to remain orthodox.

Yep, my country is allowing gay marriage, divorce without separation and soon will probably be promoting laws to "liberate" society. That's what happens when you vote Socialist both nationwide and regionally.

Oh well, I saw it coming growing up in my town. Its a shame, but possibly, maybe with some hope, when Sagrada Familia Cathedral is complete, maybe its light will change hearts.

Pray for my country.

Oh that is just terrible. I have been to Spain, and just loved it there. The people were so very nice. :) People do not realize how damaging Socialism is toward believers, and family values. Keep speaking out, since you are speaking from experience! Prayers for your country will be on my prayer list.

That's really depressing, PeterPaul! I suppose that the idea of Spain as one of the last bastions of Christendom is wishful thinking now, eh? I've always had a high regard for Spain for keeping the faith, regardless of a civil war and the outright atheism of her neighbor, France. Oh, well.......

As for Poland, I think Poland will remain faithful for quite some time thanks to the efforts of the current Holy Father and some really bad memories of Communism.
