Hello my dear readers;
:)
I though about this verse as I have been there and cried much in my life;
You see the verse says Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy, and i see it as the tears are the water for the harvest that God has got prepared for us, it may be tears for a companion a loved one to enter our life, or it may be for the church and the unsaved. Tears are the water of life to the crop. The crop grows as we weep and mourn to God and the crop matures and becomes ripe as we worship God and tell Him we love Him, even during the sad times. Finally the crop is ready and we, me and you will reap, in JOY and GREAT HAPPINESS after the many hours and years of sighs and tears.
Bless you JOhn;)

amen to that.
i love where the bible says God spared those men who cried and sighed, everyone else died.... wow.
i think thats correct anyway.

and where God said there is a book in heaven where every tear we cry for the sake of the gospel and his purpose is recorded.

my pastor told me something else too,
that verse doesnt just mean your tears are seeds being sown, but it means you need to be sowing, even when you are shedding tears.
becuase crying is not always enough, everyone cries. its those people who continue.... in times of tears that are blessed and rewarded.

well thankyou very much.

heres that verse, so i dont seem crasy.

ezekiel 9.4-6. new english bible.
"go through the city, through jerusalem, said the Lord, and put a mark on the foreheads of those who groan and lament over the abominations practised there. then i heard him say to the others, follow him through the city and kill without pity, spare no one. Kill and destroy them all, old men and young girls, little children and women, but TOUCH NO ONE WHO BEARS THE MARK. BEGIN AT MY SANCTUARY....

WOW. man, if that aint a call to prayer and intercession and burdened hearts i dont know what is.
my God... :sigh:
people we need to pray.

Very good points-thanks! It's easy to plant when everything is going well, but when we don't understand, or do not see the fruit yet, David Brainerd is one example that is precious to consider. He did not see the fruits of his labor his whole life long, if I'm remembering it right. But afterward, many were saved because of his tireless devotion. What if he had given up? A lifetime is a long time to wait! But the reward is afterward and cannot be lost.

Excellent point-thanks for that! :)
