Sound of Music anybody?
I would hafta say this is my all-time fave musical, because my family has adopted it as OUR musical. My father's a tenor, I'm a 2nd soprano, my mum's a first, my sis is an alto, and together we've formed our very own singing group that does every SoM song under the sun, as well as a long repetoire of others.

i was in it once... just in Chorus. twas good fun.

I like Von trapp. a cool character. i like the song 16 going on 17 too. and Eidelweiss...

me and my friends have been getting into the sound of music...i havent been in it but my favorite character is proably the oldest daughtar...i cant think of her name...and my favorite song is sixteen going on seventeen i sing that at auditions and ususally they go pretty well

I absolutely love "The Sound of Music"! Very recently, I played the Mother Abbess, it was so much fun! "Climb every Mountain" is my favorite audition song. It was really funny because all of the other nuns in the cast were exceptionally taller than me, and I lost all illusions of authority. But hey, it was exciting.

Very cool show. I did it in middle school. I was Freidrich (sp). It was kinda funny, cause he is the eldest son and my voice hadn't changed. The actors who played my younger brothers had lower voices than I! The movie is fun but kinda dosen't do the show justice.

My parents introduced me to it. And I'll try to get my kid to watch it too...maybe when he's a bit older

i love the nuns singing about maria! thats my favorite scene but its a great family movie to watch and the songs stick with me for days.

I haven't seen it but have heard its good. I can play many of the songs from it on the piano.

I like 16 going on 17's dance number in the movie. I still can not shake the shivers I get from those songs when I hear them. It's wierd being in a show and then seeing it performed.
