Sry if I misspelt that. But I was readin and seen this as not only the perfect show of christ and us, but it shows how our relationship should be with our girl or man. Imagin a relationship like that. What a wonderfull thing.

Yep, it's some pretty steamy stuff! I have always wanted my hair to be compared to "a flock of goats descending from Mount Gilead" and my teeth to a "flock of sheep just shorn, coming up from the washing". Must be the Old Testament way of saying "You're a hottie!"
But I think it also shows us that these kinds of desires and feelings are okay and appropriate, in the proper time and place.

Did he state that it should or shouldn't be in there? If he thinks it shouldn't then perhaps he should read the context of it. Yes, it is a pretty steamy book of the Bible but lust isn't even a factor because it's supposedly referring to the husband/wife relationship.

More than that, it showes how our relationship with God is. If ya can't read it with ears to hear (spirit hears spirit) then of course the flesh will see it as bad. But then again it also sees a lot of other good things as bad.
But in no way is that book evil due to the context. I happen to think it is one of the most passionet love letters God could write us, or a man could bring to a woman he loves. If you are not single I would even suggest reading it to each other. As long as you are mature enough that is.

I think people confuse the passion of love with lust. They see lust as a powerful thing and love as a meek feeling. When in fact lust is perverted and love is powerful.
