I had a vision of my son last week. I woke up and before I got out of bed I envisioned him standing next to a boulder; his feet were planted and he was trying to force it to move on his own. I know he needs prayers, but I am not sure what that is about. Thank you so much!

I guess the Lord knows and I should not worry. I am just wondering if anyone has an interpretation.

Hi,
I believe your dream to be this: God is with him and is calling him into service, but he is resisting. Just remember this, God's will, will be done. (SMILE) Keep Praying!

I think it might be thoughtful to call him and offer that you will listen and try to help no matter what he's going through, even if he's afraid to tell you. Maybe he's pushing something that someone could give him a boost with, but he's too embarassed to ask.

I agree with you though, that he needs your prayers, so we'll join with you! It must be something very heavy on his heart.

i feel youre vision was from god him self is youre son going through some problems at the moment? where he is trying to do things in his own strength, the boulder he is standing next two is too heavy and too big and he cant move it. he cant move it by himself maybe a situation he is in where he is trying to do it in his own strength. his feet are planted with this im getting that he is a believer a christian? god is showing you i feel that god is the rock and since youre sons feet are planted in christ he is to rely on christ for situations and that christ is his strength that he is to rely on gods strength and not his own strength i hope this helps.

According to scripture it would be sybolic of a stumbling block before him, you are being shown he needs help to remove that stumbling block that is before him. Study [stumbling block ] in the bible and have scripture lead you as to how you can help him.

He needs a fulcrum and a lever.

He is pushing something that is far beyond his capability, but if someone helps him find the right tools, and pushes with him, he can move it. He doesn't need to do this alone.

Its like he is being forced to tell you something thats on his mind. The trying to move while his feet are firmly planted is because he has to tell you something.

Tell him about your dream and gently tell him that you are ready to listen to him. Is he in his late teens?

Thank you each and all for your wisdom and insight. The thing that makes sense to me is that he has had a learning disability. I think that he needs deliverance from this. He has been trying and trying over the years to do his school work, but he just cannot keep up. He is very intelligent, but there is a hinderance and we need to pray against this for him. He told me the other day (after I posted this) that he can push through things in his body (exercise it and other things) but he cannot push through the mind thing. I believe it is a family curse as my nephew has a battle with dislexia and my aunt told me it was in the family back generations. My son is not dislexic, but hasn't been able to process his thoughts to paper sometimes. He can do math, he gets A's -C's in school. I experienced something almost a year ago that I think is what he is up against. I was trying to study a course online and it was as if someone was holding their hand between my eyes and what I was trying to read. It was transparent, but not? Does that make sense? The words were there and I could see them, but I could not get them from the page through my mind. I persisted and prayed and eventually, over a few days it left.

My son does believe in the Lord and he is a good kid. I do wish he would go to church more on Sunday's but he doesn't want to get up early. He also has head aches everyday due to allergies. It is hard to get him up for school everyday, but he does. So, I don't know why he won't get up for church except that he just is growing and needs the rest.

Thanks for your insight. I will look up stumbling block. Thank you all!

God Bless and love to each and every one!

Interesting about the transparent hand -- did it seem like a spiritual
force to you, or just a sensation? I have heard that Asperger's patients sometimes feel a similar dissociation like this... more on social levels though.

It's nice that he was open with you about his frustrations! You must have a great relationship with him.

You mentioned allergies -- these can sometimes fog the brain. You have probably studied a lot about allergies due to this, but I'd just like to add something -- I found that cutting back on allergens that only slightly bothered me also helped the ability to handle the bigger ones.

Fabric softener
Perfumes in paper products and detergents
Mold or mildew in the house -- check hidden places
Dust mites
Chalk and talc

(More Vitamin C is a small step towards helping)

freedinthelord i understand what your son is upagainst very well. i years ago had a stroke my face and arms and legs regained movment and use however the stroke caused me to have dislexia and well as what your son is experienceing thoughts that dont want to go on paper. i still experience the dislexia at time however i have been able to overcome what your son is experiencing.
Have your son use a small digital recorder [ they are cheap] as he is doing his homework have him read and answer himself out loud and record it then have him listen to what he recorded and as he is listening have him write it down on paper. This will work it has for me and i work with people with disability and it has worked as well for them. after several month or weeks of doing this with the recorder he should be able to process thoughts and put them on paper without the recorder. Cant really tell you why this works but i can tell you it has worked on everyone including myself that has tried it. my right side of my face and right arm and leg came back to normal through prayer and prayer only no tricks there.

Hi Heron:

Yes, the hand was a spiritual force to fog my reading comprehension. It was a bother! I prayed and over came that. But, it is a reminder of what my son must go through. We are very close, thank God. He is 13.

When I carried him, I was working at a company for janitorial supplies. As the months went on, I became aware that the perfumes were getting more noticable and making me nausaus. I had to leave for the baby's sake and my own. I wonder if it bothered him in the womb? Probably so. I didn't notice the perfumes at all before I became pregnant.

millerrod:

Yes, that is a great idea...if I can only get him to use it! I will see if I can get him to. He is good at dictating to me, but he cannot do that at school. He used to be allowed to dictate at school, but they took that accomodation away from him. I want it back. I should go back and have another meeting with them, but it is so overwhelming. I must anyway. Please pray that I get the right accomodations for my son. And for healing.

Thanks and love to all that have been concerned! I SO appreciate your support and love.

Love,

Patti

When you go back to the school and if they are not wanting to acomadate his disability tell them it is your understanding that each state has an agency called Disability Rights Center. They will not at ALL want to deal with this agency they have lawyers that are passionate about what they do and doctors , hospitals and schools and such that are Gov. funded fear these organization more than you could ever believe. just the mention of contacting them will get a QUICK response. the school KNOWS they have to accomadate your son dont let them pull that because if they get away with it with you they will do it with others. Dont let them. they cant dio what they have done its what i do for a living i have 28 individuals i help guard dog against this very thing and 9 out of 10 times all i have to do is mention the disability rights center and it straightens them right out. Your son and ALLl those after him deserve that which helps and assists them in learning its not the schools choice its the LAW.
