CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not at all. Today was one of those days that I would have gladly packed my two off to some remote place for a few hours.

LOL when my daughter was younger and I noticed a gray hair I would pull it out and hand it to her and tell her "you gave them to me, so I'm giving them back". HAHA

hehe, I can totally relate to that! I think all mums can relate to that! just chuck them in the car and go to the park, let them run around for a while. well that works for me

You are not nuts! I have a toddler and Im pregnant (and tired and irritable and craving) again, and she just did all those fun things to get mommy mad today. lol. This morning she dumped out a whole bag of dry cereal on the kitchen floor then later this afternoon she broke my decorative candlestick right in two!

Oh I remember those day - you just wanna throw your hands up and cry!
My friend and I were actually talking today and she said "how many years you got to go?" HAHA - I love my kids and treasure each day with them, but there are times when my very last strand of patience is strained and I think "8 more years, 8 more years, hold on for 8 more years!" lol

Mine are 9, 6, and 10 mos. old and WOW I'm exhausted running after them all day.
I home school the kiddos, so there is no "drop and go" for me!
However, I'm grateful to have them with me all day, every day because no one will love them like me if they went to "school."

Oh yes, my girls are 6, 4 and 17mnths. Busy Busy Busy.
I am exhausted when they get sick, but happy they do it all together now instead of one at a time, which makes it seem like forever!
They are very helpful just the other day, they shut the curtains, turned on the light, were very quiet, went downstairs filled buckets with water and mopped the floor at 5.30am...hubby and I couldn't even hear them, he got up to make us a cuppa and EVERYTHING was sopping wet! Thank goodness the baby was still asleep
