What are the worst anime movies, series, or mangas that you have ever seen?


Personally, one of the worst I can think of seeing was Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer.

Fist of the North Star. For one it was not only a bad movie but had the fortune of having a spinoff game that ranks in the top 10 of suck for any system. Not only that they dug it up all over again and are producing a new Fist of the North Star series. Can we say suck.

Yeah, I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt for a while, but when it kept on being bad, I gave up. I don't really know why ADV decided to spend any money at all on it, but I guess everyone has to make bad descisions every so often.

If it's from Japan, technically it's anime. As a bit of a sidenote, the Japanese actually refer to anything that's animated as anime... so yeah, it's anime.

I've only seen a little bit of one episode, it seemed strange and odd... just my kind of anime! But that was only based off of the tiny bit that I've seen.

I don't think that any of us are in a fair position to judge Super Milk-Chan since it is so involved in Japanese culture and in particular Japanese pop-culture. There's quite a few jokes in each show that I know refer to things that are rooted in Japanese culture, so ultimately I'll never understand them.

However, I do agree that the more generic jokes are rather sub-par, and unless there's some sort of second level to them, I think we can infer that the rest of the jokes in the show probably aren't the greatest either. But I for one will never know for sure...

SMC is technically an anime, because it is animation from Japan. However, it is more akin to CN's domestic adult humor then it is to the usual action/adventure anime. It may be a very good show in its way, but random humor is not to my taste.

.hack//SIGN was quite deep and fascinating... you just have to watch the whole thing for it to come together. I can't say the same for the new one that's on CN right now, it's just too cute and "funny" for me. Have you played the games any? Those are a ton of fun.

Oh yeah, I thought of another one: Ninja Resurrection.

It looked cool. That was it. It was terrible (not to mention the fact that they didn't even bother to end it!!!!)

To me SMC is stupid, sometimes its funny, but its not my type of anime! The only time I watch it is when I'm waiting for GITS:SAC and Fullmetal Alchemist to come on, hehehe!

Definitly, as an animation student I always get so much heat over how animation isnt an art form..... AND IT IS!!! Its cause of stuff like that that people dont take people in my line of work seriously.
