  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Folks, after I updated the thread about my mom being close to death, I sat back down at my wood lathe to continue turning a bowl and a thought came to me that I have no doubt came from God and that He wanted me to share it.

If anyone reading this is harboring unforgiveness consider what you will be facing. I'm not talking about going to hell, but what you will face more each day. For nearly 40 years I carried what I thought was my right to carry. Someone had hurt me deeply.
But what I wasn't seeing was that unforgiveness gets heavier every day and by the time I was able to forgive with His help....yes , there's a feeling of euphoria but soon you will discover that carrying that heavy weight caused you to walk slumped over and you will be faced with the daunting task of learning to walk upright. I can tell you from experience it isn't easy.
Don't learn the hard way like I did. Forgive now. Forgive before you begin to sag under that weight and have to learn, like I am, to walk upright again.
