  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

But this one night before the actor was to offer his customary recital of Psalm 23, a young man from the audience spoke up." Sir do you mind if tonight I could recite Psalm 23?"
The actor just stood there and was quite taken back by this unusual request.
He told the young man to come forward and stand in the center of the stage to recite the Psalm. The actor knowing that the ability of this unskilled youth would be no match for his own talent.
With a soft voice, the young man began to recite the words of the Psalm.
When he was finished, there was no applause. There was no standing ovation as on other nights. All that could be heard was the sound of weeping. The audience had been so moved by the young man's reciation that every eye was filled with tears.
The actor was so amazed at what he heard, he said to the young man,"I don't understand. I have been performing Psalm 23 for years. I have a life time of experience and training, but I have never been able to move an audience as you have tonight. Tell me, what is your secret?"
The young man humbly replied, " Well sir, you know the Psalm, but I know the shepherd. Doc
