but I have odd ups and downs. i'll be jumping off the walls one second then I'll be depressed the next. Like literally. You cant say thats not odd, because it is. It's not even like the normal mood swings..
I also get these feelings like somethings not right and then I'll find out my friend's either doing something stupid, or thinking about doing something stupid.
Well, hormones aren't very kind to us, so we can blame them for some of our erratic moods. Really truly. Some things people take for it--B vitamins, primrose oil, progesterone, wild yam, fish oil, magnesium, calcium, St. John's wort... (that's enough of a list)... you're not alone.
You might want to look at a med site for mood disorders, or look at the recovery forum here-- some things might sound familiar as you hear people talk about their days.
Gee, as for your friend--I'd say you are angry for a reason, and she has troubles for good reason! Even if you're not sure God is around and listens to you, pray for your friend's protection and peace of mind. We will too.
Yes, God helps us with many things. One thing I notice in myself, is an inner direction for my life, that gives me incentive to avoid things that set me back. I have hope that God wants good things for me, so I move in that direction. I do notice a bit of what you say-- a few friends have addictions I've been able to avoid, with physical signs of using for a long time...
And of course, He helps! Definitely.
